*Max's POV*
I look over at Sadie, knowing shes thinking of that night in London.I shudder, remembering the way her eyes started to glow red, and her teeth sharpened to a point. She had just ripped the mans throat out and was trying to get me to run, but how could I even process what she was saying after watching my best friend change from my best friend to a monster? All I could think was 'what if I turn next?'. I sigh and look at Sam "we should go get those phones, otherwise James will kill us" I laugh remembering what our 'tutor' said earlier. She nods and we walk into the apple store, which is unusually empty. "Now remember, James said that if you throw these ones we lose our phone privileges for a month" I remind Sam and she laughs "yeah, yeah!" I giggle softly and call for the cashier "Michael!" No response.
"Michael, it's Max and Sam were in a bit of a rush!" Still nothing. I hear a crash from the back and look at Sam, tensing up "Michael?" She asks slightly nervous. I feel a big bulky hand wrap around my arm. "Sam.. Now!" I scream and we both lash out, scratching and tearing at their faces. After a few moments we take em down. Panting, I study the demons. "I've never seen anything like them" she exclaims and I sigh, this is not good. I hop over the counter, grabbing a few phones and leaving money on the counter. "We need to get back to James" I mutter, snapping. Few pictures of the demons before they burn up, leaving nothing but two piles of ash that slowly start to disappear. "Yeah" she agrees and we take off running and arrive at our door to our 'house' or as I like to call it, the devils door to hell.(Hello everyone I hope you enjoyed this short chapter, HAPPY NEW YEARSSS WOOHOO haha have a great new yer guys -Bayleigh)
