Chapter 9

💫~ 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡~💫

~4h later~

You were wondering alone in the empty school. It was pretty late and you weren't used not going home for the first time. The school was your home now.
You headed to the rooftop to see the stars,the moon, the peaceful dark sky.
As school wonder no.8 and the fact that Hanako sealed you to the school you weren't allowed to leave. You didn't think of telling Nene yet but you were planning to.
As you entered the rooftop you saw the stars glowing and sparkling filling your eyes with joy. You never really stargaze before so you never paid any attention to the sky at night.
But you suddenly became curious because Hanako told you how much he liked stars.
You sit down and look at the sky, at the big yellow moon that reminded you of Hanako's big amber eyes for some reason.
" Dammit! Why does the moon remind me of him! "
You said before putting your hands on your cheeks.
Suddenly you felt a tap on your shoulder.
You turn around and see... YAKO?
" h-huh? No.2 why are you here?"
" I like looking at the stars too you know! And call me Yako not no.2 !"
You weren't very close with the other wonders. You were kinda shy around them as Hanako said 'you're new'.
" S-sorry Yako-san! I didn't mean to make you mad!"
" it's okay honorable no.8"
" WHAT?! nonono you can call me  Y/n. Why 'honorable' though? I'm not that important ya know! Hehe!" You rub the back of your head nervously.
" Y/n I've been meaning to ask you something without no.7 interrupting us. "
You look at yako confused. She was in her human form so you thought it was serious.
" Y/n do you really think you can trust honorable no.7?
"Um... what do you mean Yako-San? He's the person I trust the most! I know he didn't do great things wen he was alive but I don't care! He's the strongest person i ever met!"
You said smiling at Yako.
" He's weak... he's secretive, he's scared, he's...not the person you think he is." Yako said looking at the 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑠𝑘𝑦.
" w-well he might be mysterious but he might have his reasons!-"
" If he didn't tell you how he was as a human or even talk about his past then 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑙𝑦 𝑦/𝑛?"
You were shocked by Yako's words . You never thought about who he truly is or when you tried to bring up Hanako's past and what he liked or did when he was human he quickly changed the subject.
" I'll let you think Y/n . Try to talk about it with him okay...and don't tell honorable no.7 I was here! " Yako said before teleporting to her boundry.
You stared at the sky and thought about what Yako said.

pair of amber eyes were in front of you staring at you .
" H-hanako-kun? W-what a-are you doing h-here?" You said stuttering .
" Did Yako tell you something I didn't?" Hanako asks suspicious.
" Well no not yet though... Hanako-kun what did you like to do when you were alive?"
" W-whats with the sudden question? Did Yako-"
You interrupted Hanako by kissing his forehead.
" No... but is it that bad if I wanna know about your past?"
" w-well...I'm not ready to tell you yet..."
" I wanna know anyway! I will ask no.4 to draw me your memories if you don't tell me!"
You clearly lied but Hanako bought it. You didn't have the courage to ask no.4 that.
" Okay fine! Ask me 4 questions and I'll answer them no matter what!"
Hanako said looking away worried.
" hmmm 4 a day and we have a deal ~!"
" n-yes...fine but you owe me a kiss!" Hanako said trying to smirk at you.
" First question! Why are all the wonders calling me and you 'Honorable no.7 or 8'?"
" because I'm the lider and you're my lover~"
You started blushing.
" o-okay u-umm second question!
Why did you become a wonder in the first place?"
" I need to atone for my sins..."
Hanako said looking down. You took off his hat and started petting him.
" Third question. Why did you kill Tsukasa? It's okay if you don't want to answer!"
" I don't want to talk about it... I'm sorry Y/n-chan but it's a touchy subject..." Hanako said almost crying.
" Hanako-kun its okay don't cry! I only have one more question for you and then we can talk about something else okay?" You said hugging him thigh not wanting to let him go.
" Hanako-kun how did you die?"
" ....𝐢 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟...."
Hanako said trembling.
" let's forget about the bad times and look at the stars!" You said trying to make the little ghost feel better.
" What a beautiful 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑌/𝑛-𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛~ 𝑖𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑠 𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑓 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑦𝑓𝑢𝑙𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑟𝑒~!" Hanako said that like nothing happened. He seemed fine.
" s-shut up you pervert!"
Hanako starts laughing at your flustered face.
" what's so funny?!Just look at the stars and stop laughing at me!"
" Okay,okay you tomato.
I do like looking at the two things that I love~"
" T-two?" You said giving him a little glare.
" What? Are you jealous?~ I love looking at you and the moon so don't worry Y/n~"
Hanako said smirking like the pervert he is.
' Geez Hanako really is a perverted ghost! But he's my ghost!'
You started smiling while Hanako was looking at the sky pointing and talking about the stars.
You felt your eyes close as you rested your head on Hanako's shoulder.
You fell asleep.
