Roughly A Year and a Half Later:
A woman woke up in a coffin miles away from where the coffin was first buried choking on dirt and bugs. She was clutching an envelope in her hand- which was odd but she would focus on that later. The woman kicked up at the lid of the coffin and frantically dug at the dirt that sat there. It seemed to be loose so she had no problem pushing through it and to the surface. She spat out dirt and panted, wiping sweat from her face and stumbling to her feet. The woman stumbled over to a creek next to the road and kneeled down, splashing water onto her face and into her mouth. She briefly caught a glimpse of her appearance and squinted, trying to make out the facial features. It didn't matter- she sat back on her butt and glanced at the letter in her hand. It was addressed to a Blair Pierson, which was probably her name.
Blair skimmed over the letter and chuckled. It was a formal invitation to a fancy game of hide and seek. The letter explained the rules but honestly she didn't care- what she was interested in though was the last little paragraph at the bottom.
'Oleus Manor provides for all of its guests, including all of their desires if they participate in it's games. This includes knowledge on particular paranormal events and beings that cannot be gatered anywhere else.'
Blair didn't know why- but she was drawn to that. She had this desire for knowledge that she knew wouldn't be satisfied if she went anywhere else. In the envelope was a map and directions on how to get there. Conveniently, the road she was standing next to was right in front of her. She shrugs and tucks the envelope into a pocket in the cloak she was wearing and started jogging down the road. Blair followed it until she spotted the manor the letter spoke about and walked through the gates.
Oh well, time to play.
