Chapter 4—

"Yo, have you heard of that student. I heard from rumors he's really hot" Hoseok brought up a topic so it wouldn't just be an awkward atmosphere

"Of course dude. He's fucking hot close up" Jungkook felt a smirk creak up on his face

"You saw him in person, I meant CLOSE UP?!" Taehyung almost choked on his strawberry milk hearing about the irrelevant news

"It's not a big deal dude" Jungkook muffled while stuffing a lollipop in his mouth

"Wow Jungkook that's new. You're finally eating" Namjoon smiled

"I don't think this counts as eating. Jimin gave me it." Jungkook spat out and everyone unbelievably widened their eyes at him

"What?" Jungkook took out his lollipop

"Why are you acting like it's not a big deal?! I heard he's hella hard to even talk to. I mean, almost half the school crowds up him, they be shoving." Hoseok rested his chin on his gentle fingers as he spoke

"I don't know why.. I just keep meeting him wherever I go.." Jungkook averted eyes from his friends

"Okay and?" Taehyung displayed a straight faced that goes unnoticed

"I think he likes me bro" Jungkook announced, everyone choked on whatever they're eating or drinking. Maybe even choking on air.

"Jungkook. This world doesn't revolve around you" Namjoon coughed as Jin gently patted and passed him water

"I drank that Namjoon" Jin grinned

Namjoon didn't bother and took a sip without hesitation. "Isn't that better?" Namjoon wiped his lips with his thumb

Everyone almost screeched at the cringe except for the lovebirds. "EwW I'm young, I don't need this flirting session right now okay?" Hoseok glared at them with disgust

"Shut up Hoseok, we don't need your irrelevant opinion" Jin exclaimed

"Isn't that Jimin over there?" Taehyung pointed out making everyone turn to Taehyung's direction

Jimin's figure seemed to glow from everyone in the crowd. He looked a ray of sunshine shining right towards Jungkook and again. They switched looks at each other, Jimin was the first pull away.

A small feeling in his chest tickled him, he didn't like the feeling. It didn't feel familiar, but rather peculiar.

"Jungkook? JUNGKOOK??" Hoseok tapped his shoulder hard enough to make Jungkook notice and acknowledge what he was actually doing.

"H-huh? Ah, sorry. I was thinking about something.." Jungkook nervously scratched his nape

"You sure you're okay? Do you want me to bring you to infirmary room so you can rest? You don't seem okay today." Hoseok worriedly placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jungkook strangely glanced at him

"I mean first you were saying that new student like you—" Hoseok couldn't even finish his sentence before everyone began to crack up. Jungkook angrily glared at him

"I'm not lying!" Jungkook sighed angrily

Everyone looked at him like he was sarcastic. "You're a big comedian sometimes you know" Yoongi confronted as everyone nodded

"Tch, whatever. I'm going for a smoke" Jungkook scoffed as he stomped out. Throwing his empty lollipop stick along the way

"When will he learn to be mature" Namjoon sighed as Jin fed him a piece of his meal

"Jungkook is mature, he's just not showing it" Jin munched

"What do you mean! He goofs around with everyone's feelings pretty much every day" Taehyung blankly said

"He's nothing like that. Tae, you being his best friend and not knowing this is peculiarly surprising." Jin chuckled as everyone glanced at him

"Then what else is he?" Hoseok blankly stared at anything

"Well you see.." Jin began to explain and everyone nodded
