Roman Black was laying in the forest, his normally pure white fur smudge with grass and mud from his surroundings . The large shifter panted a bit, his hot breath visible in the chilly morning air as he enjoyed the noises of nature. For once his mind wasn't filled with the thoughts of his pack, it was quiet; almost to quiet.
His tail wagged softly against the hard ground, eyes glancing around as his head laid on his paws. He had always felt free in this form, more in control then the other boys. Sam, his Alpha, was the most surprised with Roman's anger management. He had been in a lot of fights before shifting, his anger was out of control. But for some odd reason his wolf brought out the more mature side of the teen.
Though it had only been a few weeks since his change, everyone had seen an improvement with the older Black's temper. Which they were glad, because the older teen would have to attend Fork's Highschool for a particle fight he had been involved in, with a certain hot headed Lahote.
Sam was the most disappointed that Paul Lahote had been the reason for Roman losing his temper. He had hoped the teens would be closer than the others, since they were both going though the same situation. Having Roman still wanting to go to school after his change and the fight had put a strain on the older man's back as he had to talk to Carlisle, a vampire; their enemy, to change the treaty for Roman.
Being around the Cullen's and their territory was gonna be a hard and difficult task for the male, but his education was important to him. You see, the smell a vampire gives off to a shifter is a foul rotting smell. And the smell of a shifter to a vampire was almost a wet dog smell.
This was going to be a hard task for both families, but no one ever thought this would happen.
