Dedicating this whole story to my friend Mariah!

"Camilla! Camilla! I left Mr. Teddy in the house" a small shy voice whispered to me. Turning I could she Ashley, my little sister, staring at the house we left. It was slowly growing smaller as my mom drove us away.

"I'll get you a new teddy Ash" I told her. She simply gave me a emotionless look before facing the front. For a small child she acts so emotionless and its our father fault for that. Leaving us like that, making mom take care of two kids on her own, and hurting Ashley like that has caused such a impact on her little life to a point where she acts so cold.

Mother works three jobs while I work two just to keep us stable, but we got a eviction notice to leave the house. Turns out my father bought it for him and his 'new' girlfriend and her two snobby daughters. Our aunt lives six hours away in a big mansion by herself, and told mother for us to come. This way mom could relax since the mansion was paid for and our aunt was rich.

Aunt Mariah is a actress who started out my age and became loved by many. She brings what they call 'a new look to a teens life' on the screen. Aunt Mariah is only twenty seven and the youngest of mom sisters.

Looking out the window trees and wood areas became normal. This would be different from our city life just by looking outside.

"Ashley aunt Mariah has offered to pay for your dance classes, so you can continue" mom excited yet tired voice said.

This caught the young girl attention. The one thing she love more than our father was dancing. She extremely good at it and loves it. She had to stop when we couldn't afford the fee of classes. "Really?" She asked in a happy tone. The first emotion she let through in a while.

"Of course sweety" she replied with a smile. Maybe this new start will be what we needed.

'Itseemseveryoneishappy' her voice echo in my head. That's another thing I discovered. Right before my father left he paid me a visit in my room. He told me that my mom wasn't me real mom. I never believed it though and called him a liar. Not long after I did that I was bitten by him and left in the most bitter pain I could ever be in.

The next thing I knew I awoke and was on all four. When I looked in the full body length mirror I had in my room I was face to face with a giant cat. At first I sat in shock, but after moving a hand...err paw.... I found out I was the cat. Then her voice flodded within me telling me who I was. Since then she staid and kept me company when I was ready to give up.

'Itsabouttimetoo. Anywayswe'removingsomewherethat'stotallycoveredbywoods, soI'llbeabletoletyououtmore'. I told her as I plug earphones I'm my ears.

She purred in delight after that soon leaving my mind as nightcore blasted in my ears.

The sound of the engine turning off made me wake up. I must have dozed off while listening to music. Sitting I stretched slightly before taking in my new surroundings. All I saw was trees........lots and lots of trees.

Soon my eyes trailed to a huge mansion. Vines grew up the side, but other than that it was amazing. The big open as an middle age man walked out before a young woman followed. I recognized the dark hair, bright brown eyes, and tan skin of my aunt Mariah. She gave us a wide smile showing off her white teeth.

Not long after a male teen followed her, his hands shoved in his pocket while his blackish brown long shaggy hair laid on his shoulder, and gave us a silent stare. That is my oh so friendly cousin Damon. He was a little anti social and tend to stick to himself.

Mom open her door and ran out to meet her sister. "Mariah its been so long" mom gushed gripping her tightly. Aunt Mariah chuckled before hugging her sister back. Her eyes shifted towards mine and she gave me a weird look.

"Natalie why haven't the girls came out?" Aunt Mariah asked. That was our cue as mom turned and glared at me.

"Let's go Ash before mom has a cow" I muttered unbuckling the girl before getting out. I open Ashley door letting her climb out. Grabbing her hand we walked over to the trio.

"My my haven't you grown up Camilla. I forget how you and Damon are the same age. Ashley you have gotten really big. Last I saw you was when your mother held you for the first time" Aunt Mariah said hugging Ashley.

Mom picked up Ashley as soon as the little girl began to yawn. "Unload for us Camilla" my mom said walking towards the mansion. Damon went to turn to go back in before his mom grabbed his arm.

"Help your cousin. Maybe with her back around you'll get out of this gloomy state" my Aunt said. I swore I saw her eyes shift colors but I must be seeing things. He turned to me and stared at me with his blue eyes.

"Fine" he huffed walking towards the car. He really changed a lot since we were kids. Following behind him I couldn't help but sigh. I needed to find out the truth to what my father told me. If it's true then who is my real mother? Why am I this shifter thing, and are there others?
