I woke up in a room lit by candle light. I could hear the trickling of water. I looked up and saw somebody flash bye. It was like seeing a bunch of people in front of you and then gone when you blink.
A man stepped into the room.
"Hello,Legion " he said in a raspy yet smug voice. "We are the rebels. We had powers and we went into the government. But the jig was up. People were starting to catch on.So we left." He said.
I had already been working on taking the straps off without him noticing.
He grabbed a syringe. "This will enhance your powers." He said.
He swiftly poked it in me before I could get away.
By then I had already broken free. I slowly dropped the straps and lunged at him knocking him out cold. I felt stronger more powerful. I broke through the door and started looking for my parents.
I was blown off my feet by some kind of wind. I stood up ready to knock them out but then I was frozen to the floor. I couldn't move. I looked up with fear in my eyes.
"Don't try to run away." a voice said.
Somebody appeared infront of me.
"It ends badly" he said coldly.
His fist hit square across my face and I was out cold.
