Arish

I was sleeping peacefully....when my cell started buzzing.... I checked the caller id and it was Ree.. I rejected her call and slept again...
When suddenly yesterday's event started playing in my mind....Maryam interview her driver..

With this thought I jolted up in a blink of eye.. And got ready grabbed my keys... And went to fetch her....

There she opened the door with a smile but it soon disappeared.. Do I look that bad....so i told her lets go.....she gave me confused look.. I guess she was arguing with herself... And I was enchanted by her beauty...she was looking stunning in her beige maxi...she is different from the girls I have met....idk why I am oddly attracted towards her... At first I thought its just infatuation..

Maryam

I followed him to his car.. He held the passenger door for me.. WHAT A GENTLEMAN....

Goshhh.... Get a grip woman.

Why am I acting like a hormonal teenager..

I think forgot about the previous incident.. But its not possible to forget it overnight... Maybe he has dementia...
OR he is not bringing it up... Whatever its good for me..

I was thinking of various possibilities as to why he isn't bringing it back...

As if you can face it... My conscience mocked me

I was fidgeting my fingers in
nervousness

'Are you nervous? ' he asked

No......Nope..

'Yup'

Oh c'mon I am not nervous..

He gave me a pointed look

Yeah I am nervous

'Because of me or the interview'

Of course interview not you

I thought you were nervous because of yesterday..

Thank god we arrived the university.. And I hopped out immediately...and ran

Suddenly I heard a familiar voice I turned back and saw him and he wished  me luck...

After the interview.. I came out thinking how I am going to reach home.. But I saw Arish standing there... So I went and sat in... He came lately

How was the interview?

Good

And then we drove home in comfortable silence...

I thanked him for the ride...
