Chapter 4

"Hey babe" Jack said smirking.
"Don't 'babe' me" I scowled at him.
Jack is my ex-boyfriend and he was the sweetest guy I had ever met until he suddenly got very protective of me and started to control my life and did something unforgivable.
"Why do you have to be like this" he whispered tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear. I flinched at his touch and slapped his arm down.
"Get off me, don't ever touch me" I growled at him, he makes me feel sick.
"Don't tell me what to do Nikki"
"Don't call me that, you don't have right to call me that anymore." i glared at him.
"Nic what's going on here? Who is he?" I heard Brad ask from behind me.
"Oh my god" Liv followed behind "get away from her now Jack"
"Like I said to Nikki. Don't tell me what to do" Jack looked from me to Liv.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on?" Brad whined. I sighed at him and began to explain that Jack was my ex-boyfriend and that he is a dick etc.
"I think you should go, you're causing distress to Nic." Brad said to him.
"Nic? Who are you to call her that?" Jack said raising his voice, pushing him back.
"Jack don't. not here and not now." I butted in, realising we were still stood in Starbucks.
"Come on let's go." I grabbed liv and Brad and walked away from Jack.
"Oh and don't talk to me ever again." I added, collecting my drink and leaving the shop and having to explain again to Tris, Con and James who Jack is.

"Do you wanna come back mine?" tris asked whilst we climbed out of the car.
"Yeah sure, Liv is that ok?" I asked her
"Yep" she said popping the P.
"Soooooo what do you want to do" Brad asked with a sweet smile.
"I don't mind Bradley, what do you want to do?" It was just us too sat in the kitchen as the others had started to play dares and we got bored.
"Do you want to go for a walk? I can show you the park and lake round the block?" He asked, his eyes sparkling as they met mine.
"Yeah sure" I giggled at the redness of his cheeks and the butterflies that were fluttering in my stomach.
"Great, we'll sneak out the back, they won't notice" he laughed grabbing my hand and we walked out of the back door in the kitchen.
We walked and talked round the corner to the park he was talking about. It was small and cute, kind of like from a book.
"Brad, this is so cute I love it" i smiled taking in my surroundings.
"Oh this isn't it, come round here" he said pulling my arm to follow. He took me to a lake, I remembered him talking about it earlier. It was beautiful. So peaceful, empty and untouched. The sun was beginning to set behind the lake and it was just perfect, this was perfect.
"B-Brad, this, it's, it's beautiful." he took me behind a tree to where he had set up a picnic with fairy lights and cushions.
"Thanks, well thank the guys actually they set it up before when we where in the kitchen they snook out, that's why we went out the back door." he smirked at me and cupped my cheeks.
"Nicola, the moment i first saw you I liked you. It just clicked, we just clicked. I was hoping you feel the same way and maybe we could make this, you know, maybe a date?" He asked flushed.
"Yes of course we can Bradley" i giggled
"This is the nicest and cutest thing any ones ever done for me before" and just as I finished my sentence his lips crashed on to mine and we shared our first kiss. And I couldn't of imagined it any other way.
