I walked into the school and saw everyone watch me as i strutted my way down the hall. I saw glares from some girls and eyes of envy in others. Heck, i even saw a few tightened their hold on their boyfriends. I saw a bunch of guys look hungrily at me but im used to it.
I started my way to the main office. I could hear my heel on the bottom of my boots click and clack. Then, i realized it was really quiet. I didnt know why until i turned around.
I saw this GORGEOUSLY SEXY guy. He had dark hair with deep blue eyes. He was buff but not bulky buff but nice strong and cuddly buff. He was tall. Tall was an understatement, to me he was a giant. Im only 5'4, which is short for a werewolf, and he looks a good 6'7 . I took a whiff of air and realized why they got quiet. I was standing in the presence of Mr.Alpha himself. Not only that but my wolf was screaming 'MATE' at me.
I took that as my cue to leave. You see, i have no intention of being someone's mate. Why would I settle down to a guy who'll probably cheat and leave after promising he'll stay... just like my Dad. My mom died of heartbreak 3 years ago. The chest pains started to get unbearable by like the hundredth time he cheated and her body just shut down because it couldn't take the pain. The bastard made her go through all that pain when he could have rejected her to make it less painful. I'd rather be the one up and leaving instead of waiting for them to do it. Save myself the heartache.
I guess i wasnt quick enough i my attempt to escape my mate because the next thing I knew i was slammed against some lockers by none other than Mr.Alpha/Mate himself. Yipee, note the sarcasm.
