I tried as hard as I could to go to sleep but all I could think about was the next day, it was around 11 which meant in 7 hours I would be walking through the doors of MHS.

I'm sure you might be a little confused, so here's a backstory.

Cassie Jordan is a 14 year old girl who going into her freshman year of high school. She's best friends with 15 year old Alyssa Collins, they have known each other since 7th grade and since then, been inseparable, from hating each other to dating the same boy and then liking the same boy. Yea as you could probably tell they always have the same mindset, their so alike that their basically just sisters at this point. So now that you know the main two girls, let's get back to this story!

I was honestly pretty excited about starting high school but then again I was also so nervous, my whole life I've been bullied, and now I feel like it's only going to get worse. I was hopeful though, that maybe by chance people would actually like me and I would become popular.

I decided that I would FaceTime Alyssa since we were both so nervous and I hadn't realized it was already 4 in the morning, yea I know pretty early but I wasn't trying to go to school looking bad.

I got out of bed being as quiet as possible making sure not to wake my parents, my dad was going to get up soon so I was least worried about him and my mom had recently gotten surgery and wasn't able to go to work so waking her up this early would definitely be a mistake. I made it into the bathroom and did the normal routine, brushed my hair, and then my teeth and did my quick skincare routine which was must needed since my face just decided that this week was the perfect time to break out. After doing all of that I went back into my room and picked out an outfit, I wasn't exactly dressing to impress anyone so I chose some jeans and a hoodie. After getting dressed I sat down at my desk and did my makeup, I wasn't really into wearing too much makeup anymore since that was a big target for making fun of me last year. After my makeup was finished it was around 5:30 so I decided to make some eggs and toast for breakfast. After I finished eating I washed my plate and just continued to face time Alyssa until our bus came, which was both at 6:45.

It was 6:40 so I headed outside and waited. I saw my bus coming and I kinda got nervous even more, but I pushed it aside and started crossing the street. After I got on, my bus driver greeted me like usual and I was heading to my normal seat when I heard the driver yell to me that I had to start sitting in the back since I wasn't in middle school anymore. Most of the seats were open so I picked a random one, after I sat down and got comfy I realized there was a boy in the seat across, I glanced at him and he looked up. Immediately feeling regret I put in my earbuds and started listening to some music. Most of the ride was pretty lonely until we got to the second to last stop, which my friend was on, she found me and sat down and we started being our normal selves which attracted the attention of the boy across from us. I played it off cool since I really didn't want to be stupid and soon we arrived at the school. I was frantically texting Alyssa and asking where she was since their was no way I could go in that school by myself.

Okay I know this is really short but I wanted to start out with a really small chapter to see if you guys would like the layout so far, if you have any suggestions or anything you think would make this better please feel free to comment them.
