Me and Jinx had spent a total of 72 hours, workin' on 'Amerikkka's Most Wanted.' Mixin', gettin' all the songs the way we like it; and I was hype as hell for it to be dropped. Me and this girl Ebony, was goin' to the  Def Jam release party at the New Music Seminar. I was gon' ask Dyone, but she said she was busy.

And... I was bout to ask Love, but, nah. I can't even describe how I felt, when I seen her with Eric's short ass. Ion care, if it was two weeks ago. I thought Jinx was just fuckin' with me. I saw the shit with my own eyes and she had the nerve to not even say hi? Bet.

That whole bein' friends shit, went out the window that night. I wasn't gon' worry bout Love anymore, she moved on, so I can too.

"This shit is dope Cube!" T-Bone yelled, slapping me up.

I grinned. "Thanks man, Lench Mob finna take over homie!"

"Damn right!" Jinx laughed, turnin' up the volume on the SSL board. "Yo, but you know what we need, a bass right here." He then said, playin' back the one part.

Tilting my head I nodded. "Maybe, I can get Dre to help with that. Whatchu you think?"

Jinx agreed nodding. I stepped out to call Dre, on the desk phone in the studio.

He picked up after the third ring. "Hello?"

"Yo Dre, it's Cube. You busy?" I asked, leaning against the wall.

He turned whatever he had playin' in the background down. "Nah, wassup?"

"Me and Jinx need your help on my album, can you fly out to New York, some time next week? That's where we doin' the recording."

"I think I can. Lemme see what my schedule look like, and I'll let you know. A'ight?"

I agreed and hung up. Goin' back into the room, I smirked seein' Ebony sittin' in there. She was a friend of T-Bone's; she was cute too. "Wassup?"

She flicked her tongue at me, and I mugged her playfully. I moved her chair closer to my mine. "Whatchu wearin' tonight?" I asked.

"Clothes." She laughed. I flicked her head, "You play too much."

"Mhmm, yeah—yeah, whatever." Ebony smiled, pullin' at my hair.

We was gettin' close n' shit, I smacked her thigh. "Don't be startin' nun girl."

Jinx started snappin' pictures of us n' everyone. We just started clownin' celebrating, havin' a good time. I hoped, Dre could come out and get this bass n' shit, cause the album would be hot. Jinx may be a good producer, but Dre is the shit.

"Cube, do you have anything to say to your friends in N.W.A?"

I waved off the camera and grabbed Ebony's hand. The Def Jam party was packed, everyone rapper, artist, and anyone who was anyone was there. The music was bumpin', and Ebony was lookin' fine as hell in her little purple dress.

I was havin' a conversation with Chuck D, over by the bar. He was askin' me to get in, on a track that he was puttin' together. Was I gon' pass that up? Hell no!

"Yeah man, I'm down. I'll for sure, be there."

We dapped each other up and I went back to Ebony who was, dancin' with Jinx. "That nigga can't dance."

"You just mad, cause you can't dance!" Jinx laughed.

Me and Ebony was flirtin' with each other, y'know? Innocent flirtin't n' shit. The party lasted longer, than I thought it would.
