MACKENZIE'S POV(flashback age:15 Orphanage in England)

"Seras what happened to you your filthy?!" I asked kneeling trying to get the dirt of her face

"One of the boys started teasing me, so I slapped him and he pushed me to the dirt"

"Seras must you always get into trouble" I sighed

"Where's Vincent, Mackenzie" seras asked

"He's hanging out with his friends I hope he's alright" I wished

"You like Vincent don't you Mackenzie?" Seras teased

"Eh?! me like Vincent?" I said shocked

"Yeah your eyes don't lie" seras said

"Seras do you want me to tell management that you stole the principles gold necklace an sold it for an apple pie" I threatened her

"No don't say anything Mackenzie! please!"

I laughed "of course I won't but tease me like that again and I'll tell on you"

"Hey Mackenzie... seras! why do you look like that?!" Vincent asked

"A boy stole my toy and I pushed him and he pushed me back so we ended up fighting" seras said to Vincent

"What are we going to do with you kiddo?" He said ruffling seras's hair

"I don't know" I said honestly

"I was thinking when we're old enough I'll get a job and I'll buy a big mansion so we can all live together"

"You have 2more years until you can leave the orphanage Vincent you can get a job, but for me and seras it looks like we'll be staying here for a while" I said sadly holding seras

Vincent smacked the back of my head

"Ouch!!"

"What are you talking about when I get a job and make lots of money I'll make sure to have you both move into a giant mansion" Vincent said happily

"Idiot! you didn't have to hit me you know" I whined

"Yea...sorry about that" he said nervously

"Anyway there's no future for us we'll have to stay here until the orphanage decides to kick us out" I said quietly

"That's not true Mackenzie! your a really smart and beautiful girl you can do anything if you just try!" He stated

"Maybe your right I am a smart girl when the orphanage kicks me out I can find a job and make a living out of it, maybe there is a future out there waiting for me" I said confidently
