Chapter 13

Lauren pov

Its been over 4 months since the situation at the Hospital with Lee. The kids were mad and ended up staying to my house so he was there by himself. I honestly didn't care what the girl did at this point it was because he chose to act like he didn't know.

I hadn't been out of my room in these 3 months. I just cried to myself, maybe we weren't meant to be. If we were meant to be God probably wouldn't have done this.

I prayed every night for someone to actually love me, but I sometime wander If he actually listens to me. I have no one to shar my feelings to because they will either try to make me get back with him or be on his side.

Its time to be happy now, I got up and 

wore my red and black outfit that Lee got me. I made sure my hair was bone straight and headed downstairs to see them cooking.

"Look, who finally came out of prison" I heard Derrick comment

"You doing okay" I hear Imani say

"Yeah, I'm good" I said and plastered  fake smile.

I went to the kids room and they were in the shower having sex. I went back downstairs and stole a piece of sausage from Derrick before heading out of the door.

I went to the car and plugged in my Aux cord and played the song 'Playing Games' I then headed to the mall.

"You actin kinda shady, aint been callin me baby, boy, you can go and stop playin games" I sung on the way to the mall. I was now 4 months pregnant and I had to tell everyone on my own. Witch was upsetting. But I got through it.

I got to the mall and headed out to the Food Court

"What to eat" I said to myself while holding my stomach and going through the menu.

Chinese food was my best choice right now. The OBGYN Doctor found out I was eating she really got on me because of that so I had to stop before it harmed the baby

"Lauren" I heard a familiar voice call from behind me

I ignored him and went up to the counter

"Hi, can I have Orange, House, and Mustard chicken with rice and noodles" I asked

She rung up my food and gave it to me. I got my phone out and scrolled through it while I ate my food. I saw someone sit across from me and stare. I instantly knew who it was.

"Can you please leave my table your bothering me" I said stuffing my mouth with Orange Chicken

He sighed and left the table, my eyes clouded with tears because of how much I missed him. I have never broken up with anyone this long. But all of my other relationships invlolved abusing so I had no choice.

He later came back with a plate and sat beside me. I sighed and kept going through my phone. I finished my noodles and went to my chicken pouring packs and packs id Duck sauce on it.

"Lauren" I heard him say again after a sniff which meant he was crying. I saw him wipe is eyes again then I finally looked up at him.

"What Lee" I said on the verge of tears

"I'm sorry" I said

"Okay" I said wiping the tears in my eyes

"Look, don't cry, it was all my fault. Even though I don't remember what happened I know I did some wrong in it. I completely apologize for the bad actions I made. If I had the choice to take it back I would. But right now I just want you to forgive me." He said while wiping tears.

"I don't know. I am scared of getting hurt. I have gotten hurt by more people then you can count" I said wiping tears 

"But yes. I want our child to have both parents in there life. I want that to happen but if your gonna do what you d-

"I told you it wasnt my fault. Yes, I back away and stood my ground. Her hoe ass got thrown around after that. I did that for you. For you not to believe me hurts me. Look at me, people told me I look like I have been doing drugs. I haven't, I need you right now Lo. I need you to cuddle with me at night. I need you baby" He said taking my hand

"Atleast give me a chance" He begged

"I do-

"Please" He asked

I truly felt bad for him. His eyes were dark red, waves frizzy, wrinkled clothes, tear stains on his cheeks.

" Lee, come to the house tonight." I said

"So is that a yes" He asked and smiled

"I don't know yet" I said and he frowned then stared at my stomach.

"Can I touch it" He asked

"Yeah, sure" I said and lifted my arms

He placed his giant hands on my belly and rubbed it. I saw him wipe tears then he just stared into space. He sat his head on the table and started to cry. I patted his back and he sat back up.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" He said placing his head on my breast. 

Once he did that I wrapped my arm around his head "Its okay" I said back.

He kissed my stomach before standing back up.

"I'll see ya later" He said

"Okay bye" I said packing my food up. He did the same and I went to the car. I got in and punched the wheel then placed my head on it and cried. I then got a call from Derrick.

"Hello" I said

"Hey" I said after a sniff

"You okay" He asked

"I saw Lee at the mall" I said

"Well, did yall talk" He asked

"Yeah, he is coming to the house today" I said

"Oh okay. We will get ready" He said

"Ok" I said

"Love you" He said

"I love you too" I said

"Bye"

"Bye"

I sighed and put my keys in the ignition and headed to the house I had a appointment at 3:30 so and it was almost one clock. I got to the house and all eyes were on me.

"What" I said

"Just seeing if you're okay. We heard what happened" Imani said

"Yeah, I'm good" I said

"You gonna let him go to the appointment" Derrick asked

"Yeah, I practically have to. I mean he has only been to one appointment so far. I want him to know the sex of the babies first hand." I said

"Babies" I heard Derrick scream

"Yeah, we are having twins" I said

"This is amazing" Derrick said with a huge smile on his face.

"Yeah" I said

"Well, you go get some rest" Imani said

"Will do" I said and went to my room. I set the alarm and went to sleep with Lee on my mind.
