Reborn

Chapter 8

I had crossed my fingers that today would have been, a nice sunny Saturday morning. But this was fork, so it was it was cold and raining hard. I was particularly excited today, due to the fact that, Carrie, Iris and Emma wear coming over. In my last life, I never truly had time for friends, it wasn't even until my retirement that I became social. Butt I ever truly had only one trusted friend. And in Phoenix although I did have friends, that I truly did bond with. I found them to be little much. But to be honest I feel as though it might be my old soul, that keeping me from understanding them and seeing them has children to be watch over.
I made sure my room was clean and organized. The living room filled with cozy blankets and pillows, the table prepped with a nice big charcuterie board, gossip magazine and packaged CD of chick flick. I check the fridge to make sure all the ingredients for our home made tacos wear their. The small chunk of beff, chicken and fish that I cut last night, was left out on the counter defrosting. I was excited to say the least, I was gonna have a girls day today. It was gonna fun.

And it was, we spend the majority of the day in the living room. Snacking on the cheese board, watching chick flick and going throw gossip mags. At some points we found our self in my bedroom going through my clothes laughing. The back down stairs giving each other many petty and doing faces masks. We had about an hour and a half, before they had to leave, so it was time for dinner.
  " so how are things with you annnnnddddd.... you know"-Emma
   "No I don't know"
  " she talking about Edward Cullens"-Iris
" there nothing going on between me and Edward Cullens"
    "Boooo that lie"- Carrie
  " no it not"
" Oh it so is a lie, their obviously something going on between the two of you"- Carrie
   " yeah so spill"- Emma
" I'm being honest, their nothing "
" ReALy?!!"- Iris
" I don't know, he apparently doesn't want to be friends. So I guess their nothing really going on"
   " so he want to be more then friends"- Carrie
" did you not just hear me, that is not what I said"
  " that what you said"- Iris
" yeah I heard the same thing too"- Emma
" yeah well that not what I said" they giggled at my response
" Edward and I... well their is no Edward and me. Oddly enough as cliché has it sounds it kind, of complicated...noooo now that I think about it just weird and confusing to be honest."
  Perhaps  they saws my distress over the topic and decided to move to something else. Because before i knew it, we wear arguing over our celebrity crush.
   We had our tocos and finished watching mean girls, dad came home when the girls wear helping me clean up. When he looked at the mess around the living, he walk away with a smile.

     Sorry this is such a short chapter, butt it been a very busy year. I'm thinking of making a chapter from Charlie perspective butt whatever, next chapter should be moving things along, I think the cafeteria scene is next.
