The Path To A Hero

Chapter 10

And we back guys, I know some of you were waiting for the next chapter and I'm here to deliver. I'm glad you guys liked the hero killer fight and the fact that he's helping one of the 1-B students. I'll be going in a little different direction these next few chapters as I don't want a re telling of the training camp arc. Just know that he'll be present for the battle against All for One.

Also something to note I'll be mentioning some marvel and dc characters but they won't make an appearance. They're just being named to prove a point.

Anyways that enough of an AN let's get on with the chapter.

The next morning the young Semi-pro was re applying the bandages over his wound he'd received from stain. Luckily everything was healing nicely, the stitches were in place and the wound hadn't bothered him. He made sure to tighten the bandages but not so tight that it'd be uncomfortable. As he finished tucking the last bit of gauze in he heard his phone vibrate on his table.

It was a message from Aizawa. He had an important meeting with the hero and Nezu at noon in the rodents office. He raised an eyebrow when he read that he was to bring his hero costume separately and to feel free to show up casually. He frowned wondering exactly what this meeting could be about. He quickly typed his response agreeing and put the phone down. He spent the next hour making himself a nice breakfast before packing his suit into a special suitcase Aizawa had sent to his home.

After changing into the new jeans and button up he'd bought on his trip with Mt. Lady yesterday he grabbed his things and headed out. It didn't take long to reach U.A, it annoyed him slightly how he still had to wait at the front to be allowed entrance but he understood. He hoped they'd provide him with a key card or something soon.

As he walked through the halls he noticed some of the students glancing his way. "They could at least be a little more subtle with the staring" He thought to himself as he stopped at the door to Nezu's office. He knocked three times before hearing the principals high pitched voice telling him to enter.

His eyebrows raised in surprise as he noticed Mirio sitting across from his 'master' and the principal.

"Yo" The blond man greeted with a smile on his face and stuck a fist out as Naruto got near.

"What's up." He replied and bumped fists before taking a seat next to him. "So what's going on?" He asked the two adults in the room.

"Do you remember when we had you and Midnight trail the Yakuza?" Aizawa asked him in his usual monotonous voice. The young man nodded, it hadn't been that long ago.

"Well, Aizawa relayed the info to me..." Began Nezu "and there just so happens to be someone who's actually looking into the activities of the Yakuza at the moment. Perhaps you've heard of him. Sir Nighteye."

Naruto had heard of him. He remembered Eraserhead telling him that Mirio was currently working under the man. That somewhat helped clear up why his friend was here but not completely. Almost as if reading his mind Nezu continued "The students from the Hero course are going to be going on a training trip into a U.A controlled part of the forest a few miles out for a couple of days."

At this points Aizawa took back over the conversation. "We got in contact with Nighteye and it was decided we'd relay the information to him and have him take over from where we left off. You'll be working with the Nighteye agency on this case until told otherwise. Togata will be formally introducing you to the man." He explained.

Ah so that's why he was here. "I've already told Sir about you." Mirio told him with a thumbs up. "He questioned why I was roughed up after our spar the other day, hearing about your strength he became curious but tried not to show it. After seeing what you did in Hosu he asked me to bring you."
