(Not) A Boy

A "boy" in class 1a, the "son" of number 2 pro hero, Endeavor, the "male" with two quirks.

Yep, that's me... for the most part. Everyone in the world knows me as a boy; that is except for my family and I. I was born as a girl and identify as that but as I had been gifted with the two quirks my father wanted his child to have he needed me to become the number one hero. I didn't see a problem of being a female pro hero; nor do many other people but I remember my father often saying.
'Girls are too weak to be heroes.'

'Quit acting like a girl, if you want to be number one you need to be a man.'

'Get out of that; that's for girls. Tch, what kinda hero would a girl be.'

And so on. The sexist comments never ended and my father tried to turn me into the boy he always wanted. I've never had long hair, that is except for the wigs I would wear when alone in my room. I never got to wear dresses unless, again, I was alone in my room. I couldn't do anything remotely girly or he would make the training worse as punishment. 

Not that training was good to start off with. Hours. Hours and hours of hard work; he wouldn't let me stop. Not only would I get sexist comments but downgrading and relentless criticism. He never considered what I wanted nor the fact that I was a mere child who needed to rest. 

I was especially grateful when we got to move into the UA dorms. It meant I'd have to be careful when wearing whatever I wanted; if anyone found out I was actually a girl then my father would do indescribably painful things to punish me for 'being careless' or 'being the wrong sex' though that had only happened twice and my father used a bribe to cover me up. At least dorms meant not having to constantly train for hours of relentless punches.

I liked the idea!

and i know,,, i knowwww i should be finishing my shinkami story (*cough go read that cough*) before starting another book but i really wanted to do this.
