I made my way from the dorms over to the classroom quite early in attempts to talk to Bakugo about what happened. Now thinking about it, I would've been better trying to talk to him at the dorms. But alas I was at UA's main building waiting for Bakugo to turn up so I can speak with him. I walked to the back of the room and sat at my desk as the rest of my classmates arrived.
Not long after the room had filled with everyone but Bakugo. No way could I have freaked him out enough to not come to school... right? I doubt it. After all it is just the fact that I'm not actually a dude. Then the bell rang. I was considering the fact that maybe I had freaked him out more so now than before. As I pondered it Mr. Aizawa came in. He approached the lectern as our class's door slide open. In walked the fashionably late Bakugo.
"You're late" stated the Mr. Aizawa.
Instead of a snarky remark he just let out a low, quiet growl that I'm even shocked I heard from where I was sitting. As he made his way over to his desk we locked eyes. It was the utmost intense eye contact I've ever experienced. What felt like forever was probably only a few minutes. And it didn't stop once he had sat down, nooo it just continued. Eventually he looked back towards Mr. Aizawa but only because his name was called on the role. Thank Atua for that because if we weren't taking attendance the eye contact would've lasted much longer.
Two periods, occasional eye contact, and boring lectures later the bell for recess had finally rung. I slid my workbooks off the side of my desk and slipped them into my blue bookbag. I was looking in the general direction of the boy I most wanted to speak with. As a lifted my bag onto my shoulder Midoriya and Iida had found their way to my desk.
"Hey Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya hollered at me in his usual chirpiness.
"Hello Midoriya and Iida, is there something you'd like?" I replied
"Not really, will you sit with us in the cafeteria?"
"Perhaps, I have some business to take care of first. Goodbye" I said and pushed my way past them.
I started to head in the direction of Bakugo's desk only to see he had escaped. Under my breath I mumbled 'Darn it'. With that I had figured I would have to go on a goose chase to find the pomeranian. I took off towards the cafeteria. As I looked around I saw Uraraka and Midoriya wave at me to which I just made a small gesture of acknowledgement. I then scanned the tables looking for where Bakugo sat. Once I had spotted him I set off in that direction.
I approached him and tapped on his shoulder. He was clearly startled as he rose to his feet quickly and started swinging a lunch tray at me; to which I froze with my quirk. His friends behind him just snickered at the blonde's foolishness.
"May I talk to you, in the boys bathroom?" I eagerly asked.
"Fine." He turned away from me and stuck his hands in his pocket.
With his signature, grumpy walk he made his way to the bathroom. I quickly followed suit and walked in soon after. He stood by the sinks waiting for me to say something. Before beginning my explanation I checked the stalls to make sure we were alone. Wouldn't want anyone else to know something that not even Bakugo was supposed to know. Once I was sure I turned back to him and started.
"I'm a girl." I simply stated, I didn't want to overly complicate anything.
"L-like what? Are you trans or something?"
"No, no. I was born female and identify as a girl."
"But- you- why- I don't understand." He tried rebutting but fell short with obvious confusion.
"Well my father doesn't believe girls have what it takes to be the number one hero. He thinks they're too weak for hero work and always makes sexist comments against me.
"He always wanted the perfect child. I was essentially that because of my dual quirks however I'm not a boy. My mother was through with having children and so he had to figure out what to do with me. My father came up with the plan to make me appear male. He's shaped my outward image to be male and no one was supposed to know. I foolishly let my guard down yesterday and now you know. Please don't tell anyone." I explained everything to him in more detail hoping he'd understand.
For a while he stood there not saying anything. I thought he may stand there too long and recess would end before he said anything. Eventually he put his hands into his pockets (once again) and slumped over into his bad posture.
"He's wrong you know, a girl can do anything a man can. And you're far more capable than a lot of guys I know." He started.
His words put a smile on my face.
"And don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
I was about to thank him however the bell rang. As I opened my mouth he took off. Instead of letting words form I just dropped it and figured I would do it later. Thus began my journey to the classroom.
I'm so glad there's someone who knows and won't judge me nor tell others.

Would it over-complicate things if I made bakugo trans?
If not you may choose whether they are ftm or mtf or even enby.
So if you were to say ftm then it would be that he's hiding it and wears binders and changed his name and such.
If you wanted mtf then he wouldn't be out yet and Todoroki could help him grow and eventually come out.
If you want enby then I can change pro nouns to they/them and do the whole growing/coming out thing.
And if you want cis there'd be no additional story line. But I was thinkin of an additional story line and thought that Bakugo being trans or trans* kinda ties in well.
