I was sitting backstage of Raw on top of a cart watching the rest of the show on a big screen while eating German chocolate cake that my mom sent with me on the road when my best friend Colby and his fiancée Rebecca walk by me.
Colby eyed my cake.
"Ooh! Is that mama's German chocolate cake?!" He loves my mom's cooking.
"Yep!"
He grabbed my fork and took a big ass bite of my cake.
"Why yes Colby.... you can have a bite.." I said to literally no one.
"Becky..... her mom makes the absolute best German chocolate cake ever!" He said with his face stuffed full of cake.
"Want to try?" I asked her just to be nice but She shook her head.
"No thanks, don't want to get fat.... by the looks of it, maybe you should lay off of it too..."
I was mid bite when she said that. Colby just looked at her.
"Dude! That's not nice." Colby said to her.
I put my fork down and closed the lid on the cake.
"No, that's okay. I have been looking a little chunky lately."
"A little?!" Becky started to say until Colby interrupted her.
"Rebecca.... leave her alone. Seriously."
I handed my cake to Colby.
"Here. You can have this."
"No...mama sent this with you. I'll get some when we go back to her house."
"No, it's okay. I'm full so you can have the rest." I said, clearly lying through my teeth. I had only taken three bites off of that piece of cake.
I shoved the cake in his hands before jumping off the cart and walking to the locker room to get my stuff and so I can go to the hotel. While I was walking away, I wiped the tears off my face so nobody could see and I cried all the way to the hotel.
I wish I was as pretty and skinny as her.... maybe he'd want me then.
When I got to the hotel, I headed straight for the elevator. I checked in earlier today so I'm good.
While I was waiting for the elevator, I heard Colby and Rebecca coming towards me. I quickly put on my sunglasses so they couldn't see that I've been crying.
"Hey Y/N!" I heard Colby call out. I looked over and he was running up to me. "Why the hell are you wearing sunglasses inside?"
"My eyes are super sensitive right now."
"Okay.....We were about to go out for dinner if you wanna join us." He offered, but I declined.
"I've already eaten. But thank you though."
The elevator door opened and an ass load of people came pouring out.
"What did you eat?" He asked suspiciously.
"I had chicken nuggets." Which wasn't a complete lie. I did have them, I just threw them up.... but he didn't need to know that.
He eyed me like he didn't believe me.
"Hmm.... okay. Well, I'll bring you something back just in case you're hungry later."
"No, you really don't have to."
"Well I'm going to."
"Colby..."
"Y/N..."
I knew he wasn't gonna back down so I gave in.
"Fine." But I knew that it'll probably get thrown away.
