y/n had invited our friend group over for a sleep over tonight and I was stoked. I've liked her for a while but I've never told her, we're new to this friendship as we've only known each other for a few months. Prior to that she's been in my classes but we never really spoke, that all changed once we were paired up for an assignment. We got along quickly and I started crushing on her and that leads us here, all of us in her lounge room hanging out and messing around. She tells us to set up the PlayStation so we can all take turns on playing, we pick a game and do what any rational friend group would do. Looser goes against someone else and the winner between those two go on to the next round.
"Ok you're up, shorty." I take the controller from Sunday and step towards her so I can hand it to her.
"No I'm good, you guys play." She shakes her head
"You sure?" I ask and she simply nods her head. I hand the drop the controller on the couch not really caring who takes it before sitting next to y/n on the floor.
"What's up, buttercup?" I put my arm around her and wait for her response.
"Nothing, I'm just tired." She explains. I pat my lap signalling her to lay down on me since the couch is taken up. She sighs lightly as she lays down and makes herself comfortable, I begin to play with her hair whilst watching the others play.
After 20 minutes I turn my attention to y/n and find her sleeping peacefully, I hear my name being called and my eyes flicker to the teens sitting on the couch.
"You're turn." Three of them day at once, this time it's my turn to shake my head.
"No it's ok, i don't want to wake y/n up." I tell them, slightly whispering.

After half an hour y/n wakes up, I smile at her and she smiles back.
"You're comfy, just chill here for a bit, yeah?" She giggles
"I'm not going anywhere." I assure her.
"Actually, come with me." She whispers, grabbing my hand and pulls me up. I follow her to her room and she heads for the window, she opens it and climbs out so she's now on the roof. I follow her out and we sit down, admiring the stars and the town below us.
"Y/n, do you like anyone?" I ask
"Yeah, but I don't know about the whole relationship thing anymore, I mean all people want these days is sex and money. I want to go for late night drives, stand at a lookout and see the city beneath us, Lay under the stars, mess around and not care what others think. No one else wants that kind of stuff anymore." Y/n huffs and leans against me, resting her head on my shoulder.
" I promise not all of us guys are dicks." I sigh and we fall back into silence.
"You got your mind on anyone, Ruel?" She asks me. I feel my heart begin to beat faster not knowing what to say.
"Yeah, the thing is. She doesn't really believe in love anymore. She thinks she's the only one wanting more than just meaningless sex. She doesn't know that I've been dying to kiss her since the night we hit it off. She doesn't know I want to do all the things she's dreamt about doing. She doesn't know I'm completely in love with her." I let my emotions out and before I can process what's going on her lips are on mine. My hand caresses her cheek as I kiss her back, she pulls away and leans her foreheads against mine.
"I think she knows." She giggles before kissing me again.
