Best friend

Austin's p.o.v
I woke up early the following morning around 7Am and started smiling all of a sudden, my mom entered my room and met me smiling she then asked what was wrong and why i was up already at this time i then said "mom can't i wake up early again?" she replied me saying "since I've given birth to you the only time you woke up early was when you were a baby " i gasped "mom that hurts " i said touching my chest she punched me and said "silly boy" we both started laughing not long i noticed she stopped laughing already then i faced her and she said "so what happened why are you smiling early in the morning " i looked at her with my cute puppy eyes and said "guess " and she said "you know I'm not good at guessing but I'll give it a try..... Wait  is it what I'm thinking? " i looked at her with a confusion written all over my face and said " i can't read minds mom what are you thinking?", "do you finally have a girlfriend now?, Did she accept?,tell me I'm right please " she said sounding like a baby "mom why do you think like that? You don't even know maybe it's because i won a scholarship " i said, then my mom's face expression changed and she said "the last time i checked Austin stark doesn't smile whenever he receives a scholarship, so why won't i think it's because you have a girlfriend " then i thought that it's true i don't actually smile when i received and scholarships like when i was in first grade and third grade i never showed i was happy i then sighed raising my hands in defeat "okay you got it but not the way you thought, i just had a crush on a new girl and we haven't really talked although she's my seatmate ".
"Awwnn my baby is in love can i meet her "my mom said "probably " i said and she smiled and told me to get ready cause I'm almost late for school.
She left my room and I'm back to my thoughts "why can't i stop thinking about this girl i even dreamt that she accepted to be my girlfriend that's why i woke up smiling, well let me call her and ask about her night ", shit i murmured i didn't even ask for her number well maybe I'll do just that this morning before class. I got up from my bed and lay it well then i entered the bathroom to get ready for school.

*In Elsa's Room*
  Okay i think I'm set for school i said looking at my reflection in the mirror i don't want to be late like yesterday so i carried my backpack and moved to the door then i heard my mom shouting "Elsa come down will you, you are going to be late again ", then i said " I'm on my way already " i moved outside my room and peeped inside and i was satisfied at how neat and tidied it was, i closed the door and went downstairs straight to the kitchen, i saw my mom eating her breakfast in the dinning room, well you'll probably say i don't mention my dad early in the morning it's because he goes to work early around 6Am so my mom always make sure she wakes before that time to prepare his breakfast for him to take along when heading to his office.
"Eat that "my mom said pointing at two slices of bread with a scrambled egg and a cup of tea, i finished my breakfast quickly, thanked my mom and headed to school.

*In School*
I opened the glass door leading to the hallway only to meet many students mostly kids of my age and some juniors walking around some are probably going for their first class and the rest are just loitering and hanging around gisting, i must say they have a lot of students attending this school, as i was walking to my locker i overheard some girls saying "wow" i was curious to know what caught their attention but i didn't  to look at them then one of the three girls say "she has a hot body I'll do anything to have that kind of body " i just smiled well she's right i do have a hot body, i have a figure eight shape with moderate Boobs and ass and I'm tall and not that skinny.
The second girl says "i would too, she should consider modelling she'll really fit in " then they walked away i just rolled my eyes at the mention of modeling i don't fancy such stuff. When i was done packing the books I'll use in class, then i tilted my head a little only to see Austin coming my way, i quickly did as if i was still looking for textbooks in my locker until he walked up to me and said "hey angel " i furrowed my brows at this sudden nickname trying to say "what's with the nickname " with my expression, i think he read my mind when he answered and say "that's the name I'll call you from now on " he then looked at my books and said "is that all? " i faced him with a confused look then he pointed to my books saying "are those books for the classes you have today? " i nodded he then checked it out and said "seems like we have three classes together before we go our separate ways for our last class but first give me your number pointing his cellphone at me i took it and pinned in my number immediately i heard my phone ring at my back pocket i took it out only to see an unknown number he then said "save my number angel" i smiled and said "i will " then we both walked to the classroom for our first lesson.

*six months later*
I was beside my locker humming a song titled Helium by sia as i was trying to remember how Austin became my best friend i must say he's very caring though then i heard someone say "hey beautiful " i thought to myself "that's definitely not Austin " i then faced this unknown guy and i said "hi,  what can i do for you? "he smiled showing me his dimples, i must comment that his smile is charming but not breath taking as Austin's. He then came closer and scooted beside me saying "my name is James Bond "i replied saying "nice to meet you I'm Elsa jones" he then smiled and say "same" i said "back to my question what can i do for you?" he then said " can i get your contact I'll probably like to be your friend and know you more than this" i just smiled and said "I don't really give people i meet on the first day my number but you look like a gentleman" then i collected his cellphone and pinned in my number "Thanks, I'll call you "he said smiling, i was about to face my locker when i heard Austin say "who is that guy?" i faxed him saying "just a friend " he then looked at me confused "the last time i checked I'm the only friend you have in this entire school and moreover I'm your best friend "i then said "not true dummy i have girl friends too you know ",he then said "what does he want from you anyway?" i then told him how James approached me and introduced himself and later asked for my number which i gave him.
He then gasped and said "why will you give him your number in the first instance " i furrowed my brows at this and said "dummy the last time i checked you're just my best friend and not my boyfriend so why asking like this?, "like what" he said "like a protective boyfriend who is jealous that his girlfriend will leave him " i said he then smirked and said "do you want me to be your boyfriend? " i look at his disgusting smirk and lied saying "NO" immediately his expression changed and he said "NO? Why no Elsa?" i looked at him saying "what's with the name i thought you said no more names, we should only use nicknames to communicate with each other? He then shrugged his shoulders ignoring my question and said "you can give random boys your number so that they can be wrapped around your fingers just because you're pretty and any guy would love to have you as their girlfriend but i asked you out and you fuckin* said NO you don't even know how i feel right now " it is evident that he's angry i just faced him and say "Austin please calm down" trying my best not to shed a tear he just walked away from me angrily and i went into the janitors room to cry my eyes out i lost my best friend forever and i don't think he'll ever come back.
Why didn't i say yes in the first place?  well i thought he was just joking.......Trying to wipe my tears i got up, left the place as and went home straight I'll probably miss school for today i thought.

Okay guys how do you feel about this chapter well i fell sad if you'll ask me. But things might get better in the next chapter don't let me tell you now cause i might be a spoiler stay tuned readers.
