I sat in our meeting room waiting for the rest of my members to arrive. I dug my knife in the wooded table and study the markings and swirling cravings that were engrave on this thick hunter knife, lost in my thoughts.

I hope I was wrong on my assumptions, that it wasn't Erik. That man hated me and I feel it has something to do with my species. God or vampire, I am unsure which. Lycans are immortal like vampires. Living centuries of life before someone knows how to kill that specific immortal. Needless to say, we had a long time with bickering and fights. I am older than him but he still has an ancient perspective on life and principles.

My thoughts were finally interrupted when I heard the hearty laugh of Tonya, Siri's high pitched whispers, Xander's heavy stomps, Emily's uncontrolled giggling, and Q's grunts. Antonio speed past all of them to take his right full spot beside me in our cliche round table. Once they all sat and continued their banter, I felt a little guilty because of my thoughts earlier of having no one when my true family sat all around me and filled me with so much pride and love.

"Did you get blood on your coat?" Siri whispers flowed through the room. I reached under the table and tossed the coat too Emily.

"I couldn't resist the challenge, it's all clean."

"Oh, thank the God's! This will look great when we go clubbing." Emily said as she caressed the coat with a small smile and googly eyes. Emily has always love fashion to the point she has a whole room for all her clothing and gadgets.

Antonio reached into his pocket and threw the money towards the winners and looked at Siri expectantly.

"I am a whisper, I literally have nothing to my name since I am dead." Antonio groans and placed the rest of his money onto the table. Siri giggles and the distribute the money evenly between the winners.

"Let's start this debriefing so we can all sleep. Q, how are the humans?"

Like a switch that was flipped, everyone turned serious with the matters in hand. Emily pulled out her laptop from her bag and got ready to type and finish the file of this case. We don't just jump into things aimlessly, we have all things organized from our investigations, our files, and even our gadgets that Emily has proudly invented for our missions to be smooth.

"They were petrified but I was able to calm them and they didn't need as much healing as we initially thought," was Q's input.

"Unfortunatly, there was two humans that died during their transport back home. We left them in the basement and the police were able to recover their bodies before they completely burned so they should be able to identify them and give them back to their families for a proper burial." Tonya said solemnly. I looked at the remorse that was shown on Tonya's and Emily's face.

"We may have lost a few but we did accomplished the mission. Don't think of the two that's lost but the others that were found." I said and I turned to Xander expectantly, by the end of our missions he usually was in contact with a new one.

"The Lycan King contacted us for our help."

At this Tonya perked up, "The King! What for?"

"They are dealing with unexplained decrease of numbers and he asked specifically for you, Thea."

I was silently freaking out. I didn't expect this meeting to happen so soon after the warning, which didn't feel like a warning more like a gloating session.

"I am so excited! The king of Lycans! Dare I say his name? Oh, what the hell he can't hear me. Erik Skarsgård!" Tonya stoped her exclamation to begin her episode of squealing and giggling. Tonya idealize Erik, mostly because he is her king but also because she thinks he is hot as fuck, her words.
