Ally's POV

It was yet another day in Brooksville. Sunny, beautiful, friendly weather, so great. Ugh! I hate good things. Oh, Hi! My name is ally, full name, Allison. I am 20 years old and I live with my dad. My mom is crazy, literally. She has mental issues and is currently in a mental home. I wasn't always like this. I was that lovely sweet little girl before Mark. He was my first boyfriend, and last. I never actually believed in love, but somehow, Mark got me falling and then I later discovered it was all a dare, literally. So, we broke up and since then I built up my theory, "True love isn't real". People keep saying I'm crazy but I know I'm not. Its true and never will I fall for another guy ever again. 'Ally! Your friends are here. Time for school!". Thats probably my dad. I've got to go. "Hey ally, looking good" said Hannah. "Thanks. I don't know why, but I just feel like today is gonna be a really good day". "OMG! Did Allison James just predict goodness. The world is changing for reals" Montana said. Everyone laughed. Yup, I know its pretty weird for someone like me to predict goodness, but I just have that feeling. "C'mon guys, lets go to school before Mrs. Backster sends us straight to the principal, again" said Hannah.

"Today's literature class will be about the famous novel, Romeo and Juliet. Does anybody know how to summarize the story?" said Mrs. Backster. I was just downloading this new app my friends told me about. It can teach you how to design anything you want to. Oh! did I mention? I want to be a designer, fashion designer specifically. But I still have to go through this shithole called college. "Miss James, I'm sure you have something to say, granted you are not even paying attention". "No Mrs. Backster, you've got the wrong person. I don't do love". "Oh really? Well that makes you the perfect person to answer this question. Could you come up here please?" "I said you've got the wrong person". "Now!". "FINE!". I went up to the front and stared at everyone like they were pieces of shit. "Well, I've heard this story before, no doubt. Romeo and Juliet is about love, but the truth really is, love doesn't exist, for real. Anyone who says they are truly in love is a big liar and a fool. Love is just giving someone an opportunity to break your heart and that is not good". "Miss James, that is not the summary of Romeo and Juliet". "But thats my summary". "That's it. Go to the principal's office and explain to him why such the negative attitude today, now!". I went to the principal's office, but I don't see why she made me do that when she knows, in fact everyone knows that I am no expert in the love department. Just by saying the word love, I am already disgusted. I thought today will go well for a change, but as usual, good things never come my way.
