It Begins!

I was 7 years old at that time. The time when everything happened.
My name is Isaac and I have a new-born sister called Luna. I live in a town with my parents or should I say my parent as there was only our mom taking care of us.
My dad..... He got drunk every day and beat my mom when he was out of control.
One day, Luna just slept and he got home drunk and he was angry for a reason I didn't know. He started destroying all the dishes and glasses and everything in the kitchen. My mom tried to stop him but he grabbed her by her throat and slammed her against the door. He started punching her everywhere. I tried to stop him by pulling his shirt, he turned around and gave me a hard punch on my eye, and I was projected to the wall.
Before I collapse, I remember having a glance of my mom screaming my name and I saw.................. a man.....He had no skin at all, I could see his skull head under the cap of his long dark cloak. He was standing right behind my dad. After that, blackout..........

I woke up the following day at the hospital, with a minor eye injury, a slight cut on my eyebrow, and a brain concussion. My mom was sitting beside me with Luna in her arms.
Me: "Mom, what happened?"
Her: "Nothing baby, everything is fine."
Me: "and...... Dad?"
Her: "Your dad is gone...."
Me: "Where?"
Her: "To a place where he won't be hurting us as from now."
I was so happy when she said that but then I got a flashback...
Me: "Mom but how about the man who was behind dad?"
Her: "What man?"
Me: "There was a man behind dad yesterday dress in black."
Her: "It was maybe a hallucination, don't worry big boy, just forget about it. The doctor said you are doing well and guess what? We are going home now!"
Me: "Yesss!"
While walking to the exit, I started seeing a lot of strange things, I was 7 years old so my mom didn't take me seriously when I was telling her that I saw the same man in the hospital next to the bed of an old person.
When we got out of the hospital, the sun was about the set. We went in the car and mom drove us home. On our way home, mom drove pass a graveyard and I saw a man with a black coat appeared out of nowhere and started talking to a boy who was crying in front of someone's grave. He had roses in his hands..... I think it was someone from his family or beloved one.
When we got home, I went to my room and then I saw something in the sky........................................

3 years later.......
Mom just fetched me home from school, I head to see Luna in her crib, she's playing with her stuffed animals. I decided to take her in my arms and sit with mum, watching the breaking news.
TV: "We declare the arrival of the Coronavirus in our country, everyone, needs to stay safe at home. It's a very lethal and spreading virus. You need to avoid contact with everyone outside your house. You have till tomorrow noon until the official lockdown for 1 month"
Mom: "Ok, baby I need you to remain at home, Mum will be back soon, ok?"
Me: "Ok mom, but where are you going?"
Mom: "I'm going to get some groceries and stock for the time we'll be stuck at home."
Me: "Oh ok mama, I will be waiting for you."
Mom: "Good boy!"
Mom grabs her purse and instantly runs to her car.
Me: "Well Luna, it's only you and me right now, don't worry mom will be back soon."
I put Luna back in her crib and I get in my room. I start hearing some noises outside, so I open the window in my room and look at everyone outside rushing to the grocery stores and supermarket. I suddenly notice something in the sky..... The same thing I saw 3 years ago and this time it's heading in my direction. It looks huge with the same clothes as the man I saw standing behind my dad, but he is particularly different, he wears a mask, his cloak is white with golden fringes and he has massive wings. He lands in front of my window with such a strength, the wind caused by his wings nearly pushed me away............. I was terrified and amazed at the same time.
Him: "Isaac?" with a menacing voice.
Me: "huh ye...ye....yes sir"
Him: "Don't be afraid boy, I'm not going to hurt you."
Me: "Who.......are you?"
Him: "Don't you see? Am an angel, boy."
Me: "Really? Wow!"
Him: "No-one can see me except you."
Me: "But........how?"
Him: "You once got hit on your eye years ago and had a concussion, that hit triggered a nerve-related to your eyes that reveals everything that a normal person can't see."
Me: "But my eyes are fine."
Him: "Yes, it's nothing serious compared to TBI."
Me: "What does TBI mean, sir?
Him: "Nothing bad, just a small injury inside your head."
Me: "Sir may I ask you something?"
Him: "Yes son, go on."
Me: "Why are you here today?"
Him: "I reached here, to observe you."
Me: "But..... Why? Have I done something wrong?"
Him: "Absolutely not, but I can't tell you anything, for now, you won't understand."
Me: "No! I want to know!"
Him: "Curiosity is a vice, son."
Me: "What does that mean?"
Him: "Nothing, nothing at all. I will come to see you every day since you will be confined home as from tomorrow, I will be your new friend."
Me: "FOR REAL!?"
Him: "Yes."
Me: "Yupiiiiiiiiiii! I got a friend! Wuhoooo!"
Him: "Shhhhhhhhh....No-one must know about it, this will be our little secret."
Me: "Okayyyyyyyyy, Shhhhhhhhh" with my finger on my lips while whispering.
Mom enters with hands full of shopping bags.
Mom: "ISAAAAAC"
Me: "YESSSS, I'M COMING!"
Me: "I'm going to help my mom now, bye." He takes off with a single flap of his giant wings and returns towards the sky above the clouds. I rushed to the kitchen to help mum with the groceries and the house chores. Mom: "You've been a good boy during my absence?"
Me: "Yep!"
Mom: "And Luna?"
Me: "I don't even know when she fell asleep."
Mom: "Oh, luckily she didn't cry before sleeping."
Me: "Yeah, I just made a new friend today!"
Mom: "Which friend?"
Me: "Oopsss.................................."
Mom: "Which friend, Isaac?"
Me: "Huh, it's the neighbor's son....."
Mom: "Where did you meet him?"
Me: "At...School...Mum"
Mom: "Oh yeah, I forgot you two go to the same school, well you can't go see him now because of the virus."
Me: "Yeah, I know, I can still talk to him by the window!"
Mom: "Yeah, that's not a problem."
When I finished helping mum, I run back to my room, "Phewww, I almost told her the secret. Luckily, I didn't, haha!." It's almost dusk, everyone's tired so we all head to our bed.
The next day, I woke up, no school, no homework, just pure happiness being able to stay at home and watch tv all day. I jump off my bed and directly on the sofa to watch anime series. After 2 hours,
Mom: "Enough TV for today."
Me: "Muuuuuuuuuum..."
Mom: "Don't do that again, you've watched enough tv for today, go to your room do some revision."
Me: "Just 5 more minutes pleeeeaaaaaase?"
Mom: "It's been 2 hours, no more 5 minutes!"
Me: "But......"
Mom: "IN YOUR ROOM!"
Me: "FINE!"
Mom: "Give me that attitude again and I'll whoop your ass!"
I close the room door with wrath.
Me: "It's not fair!"
Him: "What's not fair, boy?"
Me: "Oh, when did you reach here."
Him: "Quite a while."
Me: "My mom won't let me watch more tv....."
Him: "She's doing the right thing, believe me."
Me: "if you say so...."
Him: "Hey, come and sit beside me." I'm still quite afraid of him.
Him: "C'mon, don't be afraid."
Me: "ok"
I sit beside him on the window rim gazing outside, while he starts teaching lessons about life and narrates fascinating stories.
