"S-Sans?" You stuttered, your eyes widened in disbelief. He simply just shrugged a lazy grin on his skull. "Sup?" You frowned, crossing your arms, glaring at Grillby, "Really? Do I have to sing with him?!" Grillby signed, "He was the only one available." You huffed, puffing your cheeks out like a child. Soon, You heard shouts from the audience, "Boo!" "Where are they?!" You turned to the steps, and sighed, jumping unto the stage, male humans and some monsters whistled at your appearance. "God, I can't believe this." You muttered in frustration. Sans climbed on, standing beside you. You shifted away from him, Putting on a grin for the audience. "Welcome!" You greeted the newcomers and the usual customers. They all shouted in response, The music starting, A duet. You started, glancing at Sans beside you. "I really can't stay~" He sung back, in his smooth baritone, "But baby it's cold outside~" He stepped closer, trying to wrap his arms around you, You hopped away, singing, "I've got to go 'way~" In response, Sans sang back, "But baby it's cold outside~" "The evening has been," Been hopin' you'd drop in~" "so very nice~" "I'll hold your hands, They're just like ice!" Sans took this moment to grab your hands, looking into your eyes. You stuttered, surprised, "M-My mother will start to worry~" "Beautiful, What's your hurry?" He seemed to mean his words, But you wouldn't let up just yet. Slapping his hands away from yours, You turned your back on him, crossing your arms. "And father will be pacing the floor~" Sans looked down, seeming hurt but stepped towards you, arms out, "Listen to the fireplace roar!~" This went on until the song was over, You stepping down the steps, multiple humans and monsters came to say congratulations to you and Sans. You warmly smiled at them, accepting handshakes and high-fives. After walking out, Sans stopped you. "Hey?" You narrowed your eyes, looking up at him.
Sure, Your tall, but he is about just a few inches taller. "What do you want Sans?" He shoved his hands into his usual blue jacket pockets and shrugged, "I was hoping if you'd wanna have a drink?" You furrowed your brows, thinking hard about it. After a moment or two, You gave in, nodding. "Sure, At my apartment?" He nodded, following after you. When both of you climbed into your car, Sans pulled out his phone and started texting someone on it. You pursed your lips, then let out a long sigh, "Who ya texting?" You asked. He looked over to you, then replied looking back to his phone, "My girlfriend." You slammed the brakes on a red light, making Sans hit his skull on the dashboard, shouting, "What the heck was that for?!" You stammered, your face flushing, "S-So sorry!!" He frowned, rubbing his fore-skull. You deeply regretted it but a small part of you enjoyed it. "I was just surprised, that's all." He grunted in reply, looking back at his phone and chuckling. After a short drive and a long silence, You arrived. "We're here." He nodded and shoved his phone into the pocket. He climbed out of the car. Taking out your building keys and shoving them in pure frustration and opening forcefully. Sans rose a brow in confusion as you absently muttered to yourself angrily, "I should've kept cool. Now he's gonna think am jealous, Am I jealous, of course, I'm not! Right, Right?!" You hissed while pushing the button of the elevator for up. Thankfully, Today it was repaired and safe to use. Walking into the shaft, you pressed the number 3.
Arriving, you hopped out with Sans following. Unlocking the apartment door, you walked in. Your apartment was a mess, clothes everywhere, and many wrappers of popcorn and microwaved meals on the floor and scattered. You slapped yourself mentally, embarrassed. "Sorry, I wasn't really expecting guests..for a long time, I guess."You weakly laughed, throwing your coat on the couch. "So, What do you want? Tea, Coffee, or I'm guessing Ketchup?" Sans chuckled, nodding, "You know me so well." You grinned, throwing a ketchup bottle at him. He grinned back, grabbing it skillfully and chugging it. "So, How have you been? How's Papyrus?" You started the conversation. Sans replied, "He's good, Still the same Papy we know and love, I've been good, Got myself a girlfriend, a good-paying job, Life's good for me. How about you?" You nodded, your lips tightening into a thin line. You put on a fake smile, "I've been good, I guess." After an awkward moment of silence, A ring could be heard from Sans's phone, He took it out of his pocket and his brows creased in confusion. He nodded towards you and walked into the living room, a few muffled could be heard. He came back and looked at you, "I lost it, It's gone."
