recap:
Kyrie and Scar both looked at each other."Our dad.." Kyrie began. "Is no good. He worthless. He ain't a father to us to us at all and ain't gon never be one. All he does is make our lives complicated than what they already could be. Your dad.." He pointed to Tariq. "Don't even want y'all to be together. He said if he catches you with my sister he'd kill you and her..am I right?"
Tariq didn't say anything but he did clench his jaw.
"They keep threatening us cuz we never say shit or do shit about it and i'm tired of it. I know y'all is too."
"So what are you saying?" Tariq asked.
"I'm saying we should all team up and do the only option there is. Kill them before they kill us."
"You serious?" He asked him.
"I ain't never been more serious in my life." Kyrie said.
He scratched his chin as a sign of him thinking.
"Shii ight. I'm down." He said.
They all looked at me waiting for me to answer.
"...Where should we go to discuss how all of this is gonna happen?" I asked.
I don't know how this is about to play out, but it's about to happen, and it's about to happen soon.
TARIQ POV PRESENT (a week later)
It's 4:13 am and i'm about to get ready to do some shit that's gonna change my life forever. I'm about to kill my own dad. I can't even believe i'm even getting ready to do this.
It's only a matter of time before he kills me or her..shii both of us.
I grabbed my gun and headed out.
Lord forgive me for what's about to happen.
•••••••••••••••
Instead of walking through the front yard I walked in the woods that led to the backyard of my dads house. I grabbed the spare key from inside of the weed plant he has and unlocked the door as quiet as I could.
It's dark and quiet in here. Both signs of him being sleep. I put my hoodie on and covered my face with a mask.
He a heavy sleeper so I don't gotta worry about trying to walk quiet n shit.
Just like I thought, he's knocked out. Sprawled on his back snoring like a pig.
I stood by the edge of his bed.
All of my years growing up, and I never heard this nigga tell me he loved me. Never had a normal father son day with him. He either had me selling on a block, or murking niggas.
All the times he threatened to kill me if something went wrong with his flow of money is just resurfacing my mind like a wave.
He treated me like shit and he still does. Never cared about me. Just the money.
Then he took it a step too far...by threatening the lives of those of I love the most.
My gloves are on so I don't leave any traces. The suppressor on my gun is on so nobody will hear.
I slowly reached over and grabbed the pillow next to him.
"Bye pops."
Kyrah
"Ready?" Kyrie asked me. I took a deep breath. We're both getting ready to go in my dad's place.
"As ready as I can get."
My mind is already set. At first I was about to back out, but i'm tired of living in fear 24/7 all because of him. I wanna be able to go outside and not have to constantly look over my shoulder. I wanna be able to have kids and not worry about him trying to somehow drag them into his lifestyle.
I just wanna be normal.
I never once was normal.
Never once had a normal day.
Hopefully after this is done everything can be normal.
Scar, Kyrie and I were all sitting in the car staring at his house. The area he's in is private and by the looks of it he doesn't have no neighbors.
"Let's hurry and get this over with before someone slides through." Scar said.
We all got out the car making sure our faces were covered and gloves were on.
"What if he catches us?" I asked nervously. It's all coming to me that i'm getting ready to kill my dad.
"Trust me, dis nigga knocked out right now." He said.
We made our way inside.
It's big as hell in here.
"Start pouring it." Kyrie whispered to me while handing me the gasoline. "Ima go make sure he in here."
"Be careful." Scar whispered to him.
I started pouring the gasoline everywhere. I never really pictured myself in the position, but it's already happening and it's too late to turn back now.
"Aye." Kyrie whispered from the stairs. He made a motion for us to come follow him.
He led us to the room our dad was in. He was knocked out on the small couch he has. On the table across from him was a open bottle of pills.
"Percs." Kyrie said while reading the label. "He was always high off of these."
He grabbed the gasoline from out of my hands and started pouring it on the floor. When he was done he walked over to the window and opened it.
He then again motioned for us to come over. Scar and I climbed out and kneeled on the roof. Kyrie got out after us.
He pulled out a pack of matches from his pocket.
"No turning back now." He mumbled under his breath.
He threw the match inside of the room and everything was in flames in a matter of seconds.
