Gilly POV

"Ollie no! You will not steal anything from anywhere! I am trusting you all to simply go to the town and spend a nice day walking around. Perhaps go to the theater, or visit family and friends. But if I get one report of any of you stealing something, this will never happen again?" Flora looked at the us in front of her and started to regret her decision.

There were mummers of "Yes ma'am"s and "Okay"s. As soon as we could, our crew went running to the stables. The "crew" Consisted of Jax, Ollie, Kayla, Jocelyn, Allison Grace (or AG as we call her), Maxine, Jack, and me- Gilly.

For some reason, as a "token for our bravery" Flora decided to give us some freedom and let us go to the village and spend the day there- without supervision. She put trackers on us, but if we did something bad it would take er at least two minutes to get to us. But why would us, a group of sweet angles, ever get in trouble? haha.

We may be some what reformed but we're still kids, so who knows what'll happen. When we arrived at the stables, there were two carriages waiting for us. Jack, Maxine, Jocelyn, and AG got into one and Jax, Kayla, and Ollie got in the other.

"C'mon Gilly" Jack said at the exact same time Jax said "Come on Thief."

I thought for a moment before hopping in next to Jax. I went in his carraige because there was more room. No other reason than that... Yeah, totally not.

The ride there was nothing special and it took less than ten minutes to land in town. As soon as the carriages wheels hit the ground, Ollie had pushed everyone aside.

"Ah the sweet smell of patty cakes!"

Jax quickly grabbed hold of his best mate. "Patty cakes that will be paid for, remember? No stealing." He quickly glanced at me.

I mocked a shocked face. "Me? Steal? I would never!"

Kayla rolled her eyes and pushed past us to step out of the carriage. "I have a feeling flora's going to regret this."

"Don't do anything bad guys!" Maxine pleaded as she got out of her carriage, joining us.

Jack was right behind her, "Maxine! How could you think that we would ever do something bad? We are perfect children!" He joked, straightening his posture.

AG held her head up high. "I personally have never done anything wrong. I only go to FTRS because of my parents."

"I go because of my sister." Jocelyn said. All of us stared at her blankly. "Aaaaand perhaps I've done a few things that weren't too amazing."

The first place we went to was the Pinocchio theatre. I hadn't been in years but Jax and AG insisted we go.

I expected myself to not pay attention at all, but then they announced what the play was.

"Welcome folks to the official first performance of 'Heroes the musical'! We are so excited to show you the story of the young heroes who saved our towns life!"

I looked to Jax, who was as confused as I was. "What is this show about?"

Jax shrugged, "I dont know for sure, but I think it's about us."

The lights dimmed and a young girl with brown hair ran onto the stage. She was holding a necklace in her hand and looking around frantically for a place to hide.

Suddenly a deep voice was heard. "Gillian Cobbler! Get back here this minute!"

And before I knew it, I was watching my life story. They acted out my sentencing to FTRS, me meeting all the crew, what happened with Alva, and latter Rumplestilskin. Somehow they managed to fit two years into less than three hours.

Not everything was completely accurate, obviously, but somethings were scarily accurate. Whoever wrote the play must've read every interview and article about us.

What was really interesting was a scene at the end. It was between 'me' and 'Jax.'

Jax and I hadn't talked about the school assignment where he basically said he thinks I could be his queen one day. But in the play, it wasn't a school assignment.

They turned it into a conversation between the two of us. It almost felt invasive to watch.

'Jax' was holding 'my' hands as he said "I'm going to need a queen one day, and I was hoping, well wondering, if you'd ever consider that to be you."

The supposed me had smiled widely and nodded. Which by the way, never happened- not that it won't- it just hasn't.

Then the really surprising part, that shocked not only me and Jax, but the whole crew, was when the actors on stage kissed.

Everyone was staring at the real me and Jax, as if this really happened and we didn't tell them. Jax looked at me and cocked an eyebrow.

"I don't remember this..." he whispered.

At the end, when it showed them recovering from the final battle, the staged Ollie and Kayla kissed too. We turned to them, the same way everyone had turned to Jax and I.

"They're making things up." Kayla claimed, while Ollie sat there blushing.

Jack snickered. "They probably thought that really happened with the way you guys act around each other." He said, a bit too loudly.

One of the employees came up to us to tell us to quiet but he gasped when he saw who we were.

By then the show had ended and the cast was gaping at us as the lights turned on.

AG started politely clapping. We all followed suite as did the rest of the audience who were now staring at us as well.

The girl who played me jumped off the stage and slowly approached me. "I-I'm sorry. We didn't know you were coming."

I simply smiled at her. She seemed to be a year younger than me. "What are you sorry for? You're an excellent performer."

She looked like she was about to faint. The rest of the cast joined us on the floor and asked for autographs - yes you heard me, autographs.

Jax didn't seem moved by it as he had given a ton of people them before being the prince and all, but the rest of us were new to this.

It was weird at first, but soon enough we were laughing with the cast and giving them advice on how to be us.

We also were able to stop Ollie from stealing ant party cakes that afternoon. Flora was impressed (honestly so were we) and said that this might not be the last time we get to do something like that.

Oh and Jax and I had a small conversation about the future. Ollie and Kayla admitted to in love with each other. Even Jocelyn confesses her feelings to AG who happily agreed.

Despite adding a few fake scenes and not having others, the play was pretty good. And who knows? Maybe there'll have to be a sequel, because our adventures probably will never stop.

Horrible ending, I know 🥰
Sorry for that long break I may or may not have forgot about this oops.
Hope you enjoyed though!
I think I'll do a heath and devin fic next, but please leave suggestions 😊🤍🖤 thanks !
