chapter 7-the truth part two

Lorenzo took me outside by the beach away from the crowd to tell me the truth. He walked closer to me and looked at me with those bright, hazel eyes. He looks down at me and says "I really like you Valentina,I've been liking you ever since we met. I just hope you feel the same way about me though." After I heard him say that, I was surprised and I couldn't believe it myself that he feels the same way as I do. After he confessed his feelings, we decided to stop playing truth or dare and do our own thing. As we both go back inside, I can feel Lorenzo hands around my waist. I noticed that Lorenzo was trying to make the boy that was talking to me earlier jealous. I found it somewhat hysterical. We then leave the room to go back outside because the music was so loud that it was aggravating an also because we wanted to spend more time together. Lorenzo walked with me to the beach to see the sunset and stopped by the shore. He looked at me in the eyes and I can see that deep down I can really tell by how he feels about me. He then looks back at the sunset and was trying to get his words out of his mouth but he was struggling. He finally says "Valentina I didn't want to tell you I liked you because I thought you didn't feel the same way about me and I didn't want to ruin anything between us but I had to get it off my chest so now I have a question to ask you." I got so impatient about what his question was. And then he says, "Would you like to be my date to the fair this Saturday?" I was trying so hard to hold in my excitement. I then gave my answer to him trying not to scream saying yes with a big smile on my face. I said to him, "I would love to be your date to the fair." I really hope things go perfect for us.
