Wildfire Book I - Survival Instinct

FOREWORD

Hello and welcome to the Wildfire-Series! I'm very happy you found your way here and hope, you will enjoy this fanfiction. But before we get started I would like to take a moment and explain what my general plan is, so you can figure out, if you would really like to spend your time reading this fanfiction. (I hope you do though :D)

I decided to include the events of the PS3 and XBOX360 game "Survival Instinct" as well as to start the story before the apocalypse. Which already brings me to the main point I want to mention. While I was reading other fanfictions, I often found, that the love story developed very quickly for my taste. Even though I really enjoyed reading them, I longed for something different. I don't think that Daryl is somebody who opens up easily or is someone for snuggly feelings. I do believe that the road between acceptance and friendship to fondness and then to actual signs of love is very, very long. I have also watched many interviews with the cast and Norman Reedus to get a closer look at how Daryl's personality works and how he would behave in romantic situations. (Big thank you for the fanbase for asking these questions, it was really helpful! <3)This series of books will also include very explicit erotic and sexual content, very explicit and gory violence (it's The Walking Dead - you get what you came for) as well as traumatic and potentially disturbing scenes that some readers may get triggered by. So if you are sensitive to the stated above or under age proceed with caution.

I tried my best to not create another Mary Sue and give the charakter weaknesses and strengths that make her character progression comprehensible and logic. Neither am I a professional writer nor a native speaker, so for any mistakes I would like to apologize in advance.I also highly appreciate constructive criticism and feedback, since I find it very valuable on the journey to become a better writer and storyteller.But without further delay I proudly present to you the first book of the WILDFIRE Series: Survival Instinct.
