Memories

"Of course I'll go on a date with you" I reply. "Finally. By the way, we're leaving for the school activity in 30 minutes " Piper says through the door.

              A few hours later (6 pm)

Piper is currently helping me with my makeup while Clementine and Sophie pick out my outfit. "Is this really your first date?" Hayley asks "yeah" I reply. "I can't wait for you to see where he's taking you, you'll love it" Mariam says "wait he told y'all?" I ask "yeah" Hayley replies "where is be taking me?" I ask. "If he didn't want it to be a surprise he would've told you" Corinne says. A few minutes later Lev arrives and calls an uber. The uber stops in front of the boardwalk. Just another memory. My mom used to bring is here all the time. This is where I rode my first roller coaster. The place where I tried my first funnel cake. The first ever amusement that Lev had ever come to. We pay the uber and Lev pays for our tickets to get inside.  "Surprise" Lev says and I hug him. So many memories of fun summer days here come back to my head. Then I think of how many more summers we coul have spent here, if he hadn't become popular. What was going to happen when we get back to school after summer? Would he forget all about this, our friendship that had come back. Would he forget about this date, and the fact that we both liked eachother. Would he just return to popularity. Now isn't the time to think about that stuff though. I grab his hand and we walk towards one of the rollercoasters. We walk around and ride rides at the boardwalk until around 9:30 pm when he convinces me to ride the ferris wheel. Despite my fear of ferris wheels I still decide to ride it with him. When we reach the top the cart stops and I start to panic. Then a whole bunch of fireworks go off reading 'will you be my girlfriend'. Whoever that's for they're lucky to have someone like that. Who would do that for them. I look up again and realize that it says Jenna above will you be my girlfriend. I look at Lev and he smiles at me. "Jenna, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks "yes" I reply and hug him. I kiss him and then admire the view from here. I'm so lucky to have someone like Lev. He's amazing. He's perfect. He's everything I've ever wanted in a boyfriend and I'm so happy that he's back in my life.
