"When will Pearl see that Rose isn't as perfect as she thinks she is?" I think as I hear Pearl, yet again gushing about how perfect and fair the mighty rose quartz is. Why can't Pearl realize that she's those things too, even more! I don't know what Rose did to deserve that special Pearl, but it must have been something great. I used to respect Rose, but if she really wants to save the earth why not take it straight to Pink diamond? But she insists too fight the never ending armies and not even shatter them, how is that gonna get us to win? "Bismuth!!! Can you help me customize these cannons?" Pearl asked, interrupting my thoughts. " Uhh,sure pearl, who for?" I questioned " Crazy lace?" " Oh, no they're for Rose, she just requested them for" Pearl kept talking as my thoughts got louder and louder, Rose didn't deserve her! "WHY HER?!" I suddenly shouted, causing pearl to jump "wha..erm because she asked for them?" Pearl stuttered, clearly shocked by my outburst. " No, not that. You think she's so perfect and great...but the truth is she doesn't deserve you! Why do you think she's so great?" I ranted to her, all my thoughts spilling out of me. Pearl looked shocked, I didn't know what to say, I was about to walk away until I heard sobs. "Pearl..?" Did I make her cry? "BECAUSE IM JUST A PEARL!!" Pearl shouted at me through her tears " I'm not worth anything on my own, but Rose believed in me, when nobody else did, including you! I don't deserve her, and neither do you!" Pearl yelled at me, tears streaming down her face " you wouldn't understand!" "Pearl...I didn't mean-" Pearl cut me off " No.. Rose asked to have these cannons customized so you will do it" "o-ok..." o stuttered as she shoves the canon towards me and walks away.
