It's quarter past ten at night and the only thing you can hear is the heavy fall of rain. I put my trembling hands over my head as an attempt to prevent myself from getting soaked in the rain. I didn't bring my mackintosh nor my umbrella. I left it in my house.

I stopped at a near coffee shop and I was welcomed with a melodious scent of coffee beans. The place is warm and comforting. Maybe, I should come here often?

I took a cab and told the driver where I live.
I gave my fare.
I returned completely unharmed-
But I don't feel safe.
Was it the criminals who could be hiding in my house?
Was it the ghosts wandering in the city finding the people responsible for their deaths?
Or was it the loneliness that I have been feeling since I decided to live on my own?
