Talking with Mr. Raven inside the train was like the weirdest experience Maxine ever had. They can't deny the fact that their professor was kind of attractive. Vincent Raven's beautiful brown eyes can be seen this close to him. His lips were a sea of natural pink and his short manly facial hair makes him look handsomely mature.
Athena was not sure why her professor greeted Maxine strangely. His eyes traveled Maxine's body from head to toe as he tries to open up a conversation. They both sat down opposite to the bench Mr. Raven was sitting.
"Where do you go home Maxine?" His stare still fixed to Maxine.
Athena saw Maxine lost in the moment again and she had to push her by the elbow to wake her up.
"Yes?" she was startled.
"Mr. Raven was asking you," Athena whispered by the side of her mouth.
"Is there anything that bother's you?" Mr. Raven's voice switched into a sweet and gentle tone.
"Nothing, what did you just ask?"
"I asked where do you live."
"Breckenridge," Maxine answered in a monotonous tone and stared outside the window again.
Athena can't help but be confused with the situation. She was there but Mr. Raven didn't bother to ask her. Something's weird here.
"How about you Athena?"
Athena was a bit shock but maybe she was just overthinking. Her friend was beautiful and any possibility that travels her thoughts can happen.
"I live near Hilton market," she said in an active tone.
"So you'll be leaving first," something about Mr. Raven's words were fulfillment, "I went to Gurnee."
Honestly, Athena was the first one to see attractiveness in their professor.
Gurnee is farther than Breckenridge so Maxine and Mr. Raven will be alone together until Maxine reaches her destination. Maxine was undeniably pretty so anybody can like her even their professor. He's not that old either so the chances are high. Athena felt like she can't leave her bestfriend alone. She's been out of her mind the whole day but she has to go home. It's getting six in the afternoon and her mom will surely punish her if she goes back home late."What's the gossip?" Maxine's voice emerged.
"Nothing, it just looks like you have more things to talk with Mr. Raven," Athena smiled bitterly, "I have to go."
The train stopped in a station where Athena has to take a ride to Hilton market.
"Take care Tin," Maxine said before Athena took her ass off the chair.
"You too, take care, Mr. Raven is a fish," she whispered on Maxine's ears and let out a cackle, "message me!"
She went out of the train as the train gets loaded with lots of people going to their next destination and Maxine was sitting opposite to her professor that seemed to set his eyes on his phone.
Maxine knew what Athena was all about but she can't assume until proven. Her senses were alert as she takes her phone out too.
