Hello Mate!

C4: New friends

RR and I are always together and I felt very secured every time I am with him. He doesn't judge me and sometimes he protects me from other gossipers. He is so friendly and girls around the campus likes him. What can you expect to have a friend as handsome as hi? I am really lucky to have him.

"BB are you free this coming friday night? My friends and I are going to hang around and we are required to bring at least one friend." RR said while chewing his food.

"I'm free, but why me? You could have ask some of your friends." I said.

"No no no... BB, it must be you since you are my best friend. Beside I don't want to bring random friend." RR insisted that my heart went crazy. I think I am starting to like him. Who wouldn't?

Friday night.

RR picks me up from the train station and he looks so stunning. Girls are busy looking at his direction, I won't wonder why. He is wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a golf polo shirt. He is simple but looks elegant. I was just wearing my everyday clothes.

After seeing me, he walks to my direction with that smile of his. He put his arms around me and we started walking. People are starting to gossip around us and I can even hear them. I took RR's arm and when I tried to remove it he stopped me.

"Don't remove it... let them say what they wanted to say..." He pause for a second and looked at me and smiled. "Because in the end of the day, that's all they can do. You are still my best friend and they are just gossipers."

Those words are like needles piercing my heart. How should I not be embarrass in this kind of situation?How can I not fall for him? Why is he always protecting me? I don't deserve it. If he keeps continuing being kind to me, I can't help my self but to really fall in love to him.

We arrived on a club. I suddenly froze in an instant. I don't like this kind of place. It scares me every time I am entering this kind of place. RR noticed it, therefore he held my hand and we both entered the place. It is loud and noisy. However, this club is different from the usual clubs I've seen. People are not drunk and no one is drinking, instead it is more like a cafe. People are busy eating and playing games in their phones.

RR was called in the corner of a secluded open room, maybe they are his friends. Around eight people are gathering there. He starts shaking hands with them and some are imposing a brotherly hug.

"Ryan, you should introduce the lady you brought." A lady asked. Everyone in that group looked at me. I was so tense.

RR took my shoulders, "everyone, I'd like you to meet my best friend, BB. She's quiet shy so please don't bother her." He introduced me.

I was waiting for criticisms that I was expecting from them but none of them did that. They all welcome me with open arms. There is a beautiful girl who is so friendly to me and also a close friend of RR. They treat me as if I am their friend immediately.

"BB, are you also playing online games?" Kat asked. She is so beautiful with that colored hair of hers.

She looked at me with those glittering eyes as if she is expecting that I would say yes. But the truth is I don't play online games.

"I'm sorry but I don't. I don't know how to play any game." I said.

She tap my back and said that it is ok. She just smiled.

"It doesn't matter you should also play... I'm telling you it is fun." She happily suggested. Before I even agree to her words, she ask my phone and she download the game they are playing. When she opened it she taught me some basic skills. Later did I know that I am finally playing.

In that very instant, I fell in love to the game and I didn't realize that I am playing with all of them. It was fun. This is the first time in my life that I'm able to communicate with other people without thinking what they are going to think of me. Even though I am always dying in the game, no one criticise me and understand that I am still a newbie.

When I check at the time it is already half pass ten in the evening. Although it is friday night, I still need to go back to my apartment. I don't want to go home yet but I'm afraid that dad will call my land line in able to check that I am back home. When I wanted to say goodbye, I hesitated thinking that they might find me annoying.

For additional information I was staying alone on my apartment.

RR stood up and told them that he is also going back home. I took the chance to say goodbye to everybody and they all smile and told me that I should come back next time. I feel so happy hearing those words.

My mind is at peace and I didn't even realise that I've been smiling for a long time even though we already went out of the club.

"You seems so happy today BB. Did you enjoy their company that much?" RR asked. When I looked at him I felt that my world is gathering into pieces. He brought back my world into life and I am so thankful enough that he enter my life.

I looked at him and a tear escapes my eye. I couldn't picture out this happiness in my heart.

Ryan looked at me with a smile. He knew that instant that I was crying not because I am sad but because I am so happy.

"Thank you for everything Ryan." I couldn't help myself but to thank him for everything.

He answered me with a smile and hug.
