Izuku opened his eyes as he floated aimlessly in darkness. "Hello?" He asked timidly. Then, a small girl appeared before him. She had long, tangled messy black hair, and a ripped up white dress.

"Suicide?" The girl asked bluntly. Izuku gulped, then shamefully nodded his head. The girl sighed, then came really close to him. "What's the meaning of life?" She asked.

"Oh...I dunno...I guess the meaning of life is to expand our horizon and knowledge on the universe and everything that mass makes up. To find immortality, to achieve world peace maybe?" Izuku suggested.

The girl chuckled. "Smart kid. Why'd you kill yourself?"

"Oh, well I was born quirkless in a world where that's not accepted. I was useless. The world didn't need me..." Izuku said with his head down.

"That's a strange way of looking at things, Izuku. You see, you were born for a reason. We all were. No matter how good or bad someone is, they were born that certain way for a reason. Think about it...who would you say is one of the most evil person in history? Someone that deserves to burn in hell forever?" The girl said to Izuku.

"Oh, well...I dunno...I guess Adolf Hitler was a very bad person." Izuku said.

"Good example. Now, if you were given the chance, would you go back in time and kill him as a baby to stop him from causing the Holocaust?" the girl asked.

"Oh my...well, that's a hard question. I mean, if you look at it one way, then you should because you would be saving millions and millions of people...but on the other hand, then you could possibly be causing the deaths of even more people." Izuku muttered.

The girl smiled. "I like your thought process...tell me more. What exactly do you mean by that?"

"Well, Hitler didn't start prejudice against Jewish people, that had been a thing for a while, especially in Germany. Even if Hitler hadn't done what he did, there's no way of telling that later in the future someone would do the exact same thing as Hitler, but even worse because of what we can do now. While at first, it seems logical to kill Hitler as a baby so that you save millions of people, but like I said before, you just can't be sure if another thing would happen. Then, you can go back in time again and kill the next person, but that could likely cause a chain reaction of many different Holocausts in different time lines, each one worse than the last." Izuku explained.

The girl then clapped, which confused Izuku. "Great job, Izuku! You're a smart kid. With all of that information and planning, you should've thought more about the impact your suicide had on the world, and all of the wasted potential. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. You of all people should know that...yet you killed yourself anyway. Now, if I'm correct, you weren't the one that told yourself to commit suicide. It was a childhood friend of yours, Katstuki Bakugo. Or, as you like to call him, Kacchan. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but you weren't a suicidal person. Believe it or not Izuku, you were destined for greatness; but you threw it all away. All because people didn't believe in you. Now, if I were to tell you that if you went back and didn't kill yourself, that you'd inherit All Might's quirk, you you go back?" The girl said.

"Yeah, probably. But that would never happen. All Might himself said I can't be a hero!" Izuku said sadly.

"Well yes, but actually no. You see, in an alternate universe, you weren't going to kill yourself. Rather, you wouldn't give up on your dreams, and you would see Bakugo getting attacked by the same villain that attacked you. You would run up to it and try to save him. Of course, being the weak quirkless kid you are, you wouldn't help the situation at all. However, you would gain the attention of All Might. He would take back what he said before and give you his quirk." The girl explained.
