I got down of the car and I saw that Rachel had just arrived too. I waited for her to get down of her car and I told hi to her, she replied with a hello. Then we went into the lift together. Once we were in, I took out my Rubix cube and started fiddling with it. Rachel saw and she seemed to be kind of impressed and she asked me if I could solve it and I told her that I could. I started solving the cube but before I could finish, the door slide open, Rachel got out and I followed her.

For some reason the door of the art class was open, we got in. When I looked around I saw everyone was there except the tutor. Then both of us sat at the only empty seats present there, Rachel sat 2 rows to the opposite direction to where I sat. Kriss was sitting beside me, I hadn't noticed him till he told me hi. I replied to him and I asked where the tutor was. He said that the tutor had gone to complain her neighbor since the neighbors were playing music really loud and it was disturbing. I told him okay. He then asked me why I hadn't come to the classes for these many days. I told him I was sick. Right then the tutor entered.

She told us that today we were gonna learn how to paint using sponges. Then she asked us
To get up one after another and to take a sponge from the table. Everyone (including me) started picking up sponges one after another. Then we started painting. Once I was done, I showed my painting to the tutor, she said it was okay and then she told me to wait until everyone was done then she'll let me out along with everyone for a break. While everyone was completing their painting, I was solving my Rubix cube. In a couple of mins, I was done.  By that time, Rachel had completed her paining too. I wanted to show Rachel that I had solved the cube but was busy talking to one of her friends.

Then she looked towards me and I showed her and she saw! She was impressed. She smiled and continued talking to her friends. I was so happy. I felt like I was gonna blast! Then once everyone was done, we went down. I was trying to explain Kriss that a Rubix wasn't a toy for kids. Then I told Kriss that if solving a Rubix cube was so easy then he should try it and I handed the cube to him. The rest of the break time, Kriss tried solving the cube and he finally accepted that it was not an easy thing to do. Then we went back to class.

We were the first ones to enter the class. While we were still waiting for everyone to come in so that we could start with the class, Kriss said that the cube was a fake and that if you press a button it gets solved by itself. What a dumb thought !

Once everyone was in, we started the class. We learned how to draw a face. It was kind of complicated. I was one of the last ones to complete a drawing of a face. Then the tutor collected all our drawing and told us that today's class was over and we could leave, I left.
I was looking forward to talking with Rachel about the cube and if she wanted me to teach her how to solve it.

In the compound I saw Rachel standing alone, her friends must have gone home. I went to her. I asked her where her friends were, she said that they went home. Then she asked me about the cube. I showed it to her and told her that I had solved it. She was impressed! I knew it I could do it. But her next sentence made me feel that I had celebrated to early, she asked me if I had seen Aaron.

All the excitement in my head seemed to fade. I wanted to scream,"Why!!!!!!!!!!!" but I couldn't. I just told her no. I told myself," Ridhwan never give up, you still have hope.
Then I asked her why she was asking about Aaron. She said that it was Aaron's mom's birthday today and she was supposed to go to the party with Aaron. Then I was really sad but so that she doesn't see that I'm sad, I said," No wonder why you are carrying such a huge bag with you, it must be your clothes for the party."
Then she nodded and giggled a bit. Seeing her giggle brought a smile to my face. I was about to ask her if she'd want to learn how to solve a Rubix cube but before I could ask, Aaron came, held Rachel's hand and pulled her away. I was so mad ! I felt like someone was stealing my soul away from me.

I saw my car arriving and I left for home. All the way home, I was cursing Aaron. I went home directly into my room and started thinking why this always happens to me. Then I told myself that at least I learned how to solve a Rubix cube and suddenly I felt really sleepy and fell asleep.
