Chapter 19

Minow's POV
"Happy birthday baby girl ll" ... That woke me up........ I saw Shaniel and Josh holding a cake and jumping on my bed...... I had a big smile on my face and I gave them both kisses on their cheek...... I was really happy..... "The birthday queen needs to freshen up and then our day begins" Shaniel yelled and left with Josh along with the cake.......

I took my bath and wore a crop top that said "Watch out for the birthday lady" with some high waist shorts and some cute kicks..... I was really looking good today.... I let my hair flow at the back and grabbed my phone and went downstairs.

"Ouuu the birthday queen is looking hot..... Any plans with Ken?" Shaniel asked and sent a wink my way.... "Lol.. No.... He hasn't sent me a message or called today.... Maybe he has forgotten" I said with a frown..... "Oh no baby what if he is planning a surprise for you" Josh suggested..

"Exactly..... Lets forget about this and go and have some funnnnnnnn" Shaniel said with so much excitement..... I smiled and we left home.... Mum didn't wish me..... I didn't care though...... My mother always forgets my birthday.

We had so much fun..... We went to a carnival and enjoyed so much.... I ate a lot of ice cream... Lol... It was so cool..... I kept checking my phone for some messages from Ken but the only messages I got were from Andre and Simone who wished me.... I smiled and replied with thank you.....

Shaniel blindfolded me and dragged me to a place...... As soon as she removed the blindfold everyone started singing for me.... I was so happy and didn't even realise the tears modelling freely on my cheeks until Shaniel hugged me and told me to stop crying.

I was really happy to see everyone here including Andre and Simone but I just couldn't find Ken.... I decided to ask his bestfriends.

"Hi guys" I said with a smile..... They smiled back .... "Have you guys heard from Ken... Umm he hasn't wished me today.... Did he forget?"  I asked...... "What?..... This is so not Ken.... How come?.. should I call him to remind-" Simone tried saying but I cut him off.

"No Simone don't worry it's okay" I said trying to smile... "But you don't look happy Minow" Andre said and Simone nodded in agreement....

"I'll be fine guys. Thanks for coming" I said and gave them a hug and walked away...

My surprise party came to an end at 11pm and those two idiots who happen to be my bestfriends still sent me to the restaurant for a late dinner.... I ordered fries and chicken nuggets with a large bowl of vanilla ice cream..... U can't judge me.... I love ice cream a lot.... In fact who in this world hates icecream?

Shaniel and Josh ordered the same thing apparently Jordan couldn't make it because he broke things off with Shaniel and didn't want to feel bad..... Shaniel on the other hand didn't  seem to care.... I always knew she never liked him ...... Anyways our food came and we ate in silence until Josh decided to speak..... "So has Ken called you? " Josh asked.... "Yeah he called to ask how I was... But he didn't wish me... I am sure he forgot" I said with a faint smile and went back to eat...... Shaniel and Josh realised I didn't want to talk more about it so they didn't ask any questions again...... I enjoyed my food and went to my house with Shaniel and Josh since they were going to spend the night at my place..... We changed into our pj's after bathing and watched a nice romcom as usual and fell asleep.

Ken's POV
I called Minow today but it seemed as though she was not in the mood to talk..  Why wasn't she feeling well?  I am sure her mum was just giving her a hard time... Something she really liked to do to Minow.... The guys were supposed to be here by now and it's almost twelve..... They have been staying over for some time.....

The guys later came...... As soon as they saw me they frowned and went up to my room...

"Ken Ethan Xavier Salis"Andre called out.... Oh God this doesn't sound good..... I thought and went to my room quietly...." What? " I questioned...." How could you be so forgetful.... Like really?.... Who does that?? ...U really made her feel bad.... She almost cried even though today was a special day for her" Simone told me with a disappointed look.... "Wait.... what did I forget and who almost cried?" I said..... "So apparently today or should I say yesterday considering the time was ur girlfriend's birthday and your forgetful self had to disappoint her.... Goodnight idiot" They said to me and left to their rooms......

OH no how could I forget? .... Minow told me a couple of times... How could I forget?? .... Oh God..... That's why she was really sad when I called her....... What can I do to make it up to her? .... I messed up big time..... I am thinking of calling her but by now she would be asleep.... Arrrrggghh!!!..... I messed up big time... I have to make it up to her tomorrow......
