Chapter 1 : Back to school

Small A/N : As Akira is my OC, you guys don't know much about her so for now, her point of view will be just a 3rd POV. She is part of the story, as a new student. I'll post a photo of her in a next chapter.

Akira's POV
My alarm woke me up. Yawning, I checked the time. Half past 6. Better prepare.
Class started at half past 8, leaving me a lot of time to get there, but I had been told that most students arrived at school at 7. Normally, I wouldn't care so much, but I was a foreigner and didn't know anybody, so it was my chance to get a tour around and maybe meet some people. It was the first day of school... I was probably not the only new student this year.
I showered, brushed my long, straight pink hair, and took my uniform oit of the closet. It was a black shirt, lighter black skirt and a red bow. Pretty... Dark. But it was kinda stylish. I put on my black stockings and took my back downstairs. In the kitchen, I grabbed a banana and my headset. I checked the time again. A quarter to 7. I had 15 minutes to get to school with everyone.
As I closed the door, I connected my Bluetooth headset to my phone and clicked on "shuffle play". I smiled as Ghost rule started playing. It was one of my favourite Vocaloid songs.
In the streets, I spotted other teenagers wearing a black uniform. I assumed they were from Akademi, too, and followed them.
We reached a row of sakura trees, and I almost gasped at how beautiful they looked. Ah... Japan. Such a beautiful country.
The people divided into groups. I noticed some girls carrying instrument cases with bright stockings, people who wore cameras around their necks... This was a problem... How was I supposed to go talk to people if they were groups ? I was a really shy girl. I had trouble talking to one person. But five ?! It was impossible !!
Looking closer, I realised that there were people who weren't in groups, at the head. But they looked like they wanted to be left alone... I didn't dare to go talk to them.
I took off my headset, sighing.
Alright. That's fine, it's only my first day. I'll just visit the school, so I don't get lost.
But it seemed, since it was the first day of school, there was a mandatory meeting in the gymnasium.
"Alright students, hurry over the to gym, please ! Saikou-san, the student council president, has something to say."
Student council ? I had never heard of it... I was confused, I didn't follow my classmates.
"Hey, are you planning on staying here ?"
"H-huh ?"
One of the musician girls had approached me. Her friends were already moving on ahead. I blinked, then replied.
"Why not ? It's so peaceful here !" I joked.
"Haha, true. Are you new ? What's your name ? You must be confused..."
"I'm Ganachi Akira. And yes, I'm confused. What about you ?"
"I'm Yamahato Gita. I'm in the music club. Say, you were listening to music... Do you want to join us ?" She asked with a smile.
Of course... How had I forgotten ? The clubs ! In my country, there were no clubs at school, nor were there cliques, but in Japan, there were ! That was why people walked in groups...
I gasped.
"R-really ? You'd let me..."
I was a music nerd. I absolutely loved music. I even composed one, when I was 12...
"Sure ! Why not ? You only gotta talk to our leader, Shan-senpai. She's really cool, she'll let you in. Oh, wait, I'll explain you about the council meeting."
Yamahato-senpai told me that at the end of each year, a new student council president was elected. This year, it was Saikou Megami. Then, during the vacation, she had to choose four members who would work with her. The council's purpose was to keep the school safe and to take suggestions from students to make it better. It seemed difficult...
Today, Saikou-senpai would announce who she had chosen for the council. I was curious.

The meeting had just ended. The student council was composed of :
-Kamenaga Kuroko, as vice president (Yamahato-senpai told me she was defeated as president but Saikou-senpai let her in because she's good at it)
-Toriyasu Akane, as secretary (she has a lot of admirers)
-Ryugoku Aoi, as enforcer (she takes her job too seriously...)
-Torayoshi Shiromi, as treasurer (she's quiet and eccentric)

Each one of them was very interesting. I was really looking forward to knowing them better...
As it was the first day of school, no classes today. Just like in my country, today we would get our timetables and our class. The new students would have time to take a look around and join a club. I had planned on visiting the music club. As I waited nervously for my name to be called, I saw Yamahato-senpai wink at me. I smiled. Maybe I had a friend already. I felt good.
"Ganachi, Akira !"
"Hai !" I replied, raising my hand, and I walked towards my sensei. I was in class 1-1... Just like Torayoshi-san. Oh well...
