It was a month after the incident. Everything seemed dark for the children. They were only five. For something like that to happen to five year olds surprised their Mother's friend. After the parents had passed in an accident she was given custody of the strange twins. She loved them dearly and as her own nevertheless. But something had always seemed off about them. She just couldn't put her finger on it. She was sitting in a chair sipping on hot chocolate. It had turned cold since the fall season was closing soon. She was thinking about the kids and their parents. How little she knew about their father. How much she thought she knew about the kids. It was strange. She knew she had to stay positive and keep going though. She was given the responsibility of her best friend's twin daughters. She would care for them as her own. She decided to push away her thoughts. They came flooding back one day though.
