Arid rushes into the prey center, seeing a stalactite on the ground. Arid saw a dragon who's wing was stuck under some rocks. He ran toward him. It was a mudwing. "Help!" The dragon tried saying but was to hurt to say it louder than a whisper. Clay and the other dragonets of destiny where on the other side. Suddenly a torch started to light up next to them. Arid held the torch and put it in place between two rocks. He started to dig out the rocks as Icecap ran over to help. So did Secret and another rainwing. "Hello! I'm Spectral." The rainwing said, panting. Icecap helped Secret pull out the mudwing's wing. "Im... Marsh..." The mudwing managed to say.
Arid pulled the dragon to the area with no rocks. Clay heard some panting and came over, seeing the bloody wing. "What happened? Did his wing get crushed and we didn't know? This is school is already going bad! Again!" Clay shouted/ "Lets focus on Marsh's wing right now." Icecap said. Clay put marsh on his back and started to leave. Sunny started to clear away the rubble, along with the rest of the winglet. "I hope he is OK." Spectral said as they finished up getting away the rubble. The rest of them nodded. "I need to go..." Icecap said so sudden it startled them.
She paced to the door and Arid followed her to the infirmary. He watched her pace slowly to marsh and bend over him. He walked in as she pulled out a little leaf and set it on his wing. Icecap yelped in surprise as she heard him and blocked his view, although he already saw the leaf. "Don't look!" She cried. Arid nodded but then she sighed. "Just do it." She mumbled. Arid looked as Marsh's wing healed. "An animus touched leaf...?" He asked. 'Poor choice to use.' he thought. "Im an animus, alright?!?! Isn't that enough to make you want to hide?" she yelled.
Arid thought then shook his head. "I can control fire, does that make you scared?" He asked a bit as he trotted over the flat rock floor. Arid eyed Marsh as he woke up. "Are you ok?" They all asked. "I think..." Marsh glanced at his wing, the leaf, then Icecap. Arid nodded, seeing what he thought. He knows. Arid realized. Arid grabbed Marsh's talons and made the torches all brighter. Suddenly Arid was burning hot, everywhere but his hands where he held Marsh. "Im so sorry!" arid yelled. he knew that a stalactite that big does not just fall. "For what, Arid? You saved me." Marsh said. Arid looked up then backed away slowly.
Icecap grabbed Arid, making him sizzle. Arid got up and started to walk out with Icecap and Marsh following behind him. They found their cave and set up their beds and scrolls. Arid put down his bags and scrolls, then put some sand he collected on his bed so it would be hot like the desert sand he liked to sleep on when his parents first kicked him out. Arid heard two dragons walking in, as a skewing came in. The skewing growled. "My cave, my rules." She mumbled. "Im sunstone. Now never talk to me again." She huffed.
