Parting from their hug, Bin ushered Yejin to sit as he waved for their food to be delivered.
"I know my baby's hungry." Bin teasingly told her while holding her hands.
Yejin pouted her lips, not being used to be treated with such sweetness. Her smile turned into laughter when she couldn't contain how she felt.
"Why?" Bin said, "Is there something wrong with what I said? I can call you now with whatever term of endearment I want, right?" He said, with his brows furrowing at her reaction.
"Bin, I'm not used to any guy being this sweet and cheesy to me...hahaha...give me time to adjust...hahahaha..." Her laughter was like music to his ears.
"Okay, honey, you'll have all the time in the world..." Bin said, smitten at the joy he's seeing at that moment. He should record that laugh as his ringtone for her.
"Bin, I'm sorry I'm new to all of this...I may not be able to return what you're doing for me right away...I hope you'll not be frustrated when there are days that I'm not as responsive as you'd want me to be..." Yejin seriously said, her eyes asking for understanding.
Bin smiled, still holding her right hand, stroking the back with his left thumb. "Yej, don't worry, we'll work things out. I also don't know what's gonna happen next, but one thing I can promise you, I'll stay by your side no matter what. Let's take it one step at a time? Let's know each other more, and just enjoy being together? Please don't be pressured my love." He kissed again the back of her hands.
She just smiled and couldn't get enough of that sweetness.
"Yes, no pressure Oppa..." She teasingly told him.
Hearing it from her, he beamed and blushed, with his ears turning red. He pouted his lips and stared at her.
Their food came and as they were to start, Yejin couldn't help but ask, "Bin, I told you a fancy dinner is not necessary, but why did you still set this up?"
"You said you liked it Yej. And I really wanted to treat you like my princess. I know you've been through a lot, and it makes me happy seeing you enjoy things, because you deserve it...But hey, I also did the other tips that you told me before.."
"Hmmm...like?"
"Like waiting for you at the shop, walking you home, cooking you dinner, taking you to the park..." Bin said, smiling proudly.
She smiled, remembering all the times Bin spent with her. He was surely one persistent guy. "Hmm, how about that cupid thing? Was it your plan all along?"
Bin sheepishly smiled, "Oh, that, well, it's true that I have no idea how to win a girl's heart. I may have a few girlfriends before but they were the ones who initiated the relationship... You're the first girl that I pursued... And all I really wanted was to get close to you, to know you more, to know what you liked...and I just thought of you being the 'cupid' at that instant when we're eating dinner...And thanked heavens, everything seemed to work out!" His dimples showed his happiness.
"Okay, so when did you decide to really pursue me?" Yejin smiled, investigating further.
"Hmm, maybe after the outing in The Villas? I don't know, it just blew up. Whenever I see you, I couldn't help myself but go near to you..what did you do to me my love?" Bin kissed again the back of her hand. He could have finished eating her hand first before his food.
"How about you? When did you start feeling something for me? At the baseball field when we finally met?" Bin teased her.
"No, I was just stunned how you left me there with your number on my phone. And yes, I must say, you looked good that time. But I didn't really pay any attention to you."
