You shot up awake.
"Ugh, what Dio..?"
Dio was only your imaginary friend since you were a kid, a real messed up one. You had another imaginary friend nobody else could see named The World. But he came out if you felt scared or threatened.
"You're late."
"for what..?"
"Your meeting?"
You get up fast and run to the bathroom to brush your hair and get dressed.
You dash out the door
"Why did you not wake me up sooner Dio,"
"Well I tried."
You finally arrived to where you were going to meet someone, you were greeted by Jotaro.
"You're early (y/n)."
"Early..? I thought I was late.."
You looked around for a clock. When you finally found one it read 8:30.
"I could've sworn it was 9:47.."
Jotaro gave you a confused look.
"Don't mention me to him."
Dio was behind you looking at Jotaro terrified.
"Excuse me for a moment.."
You went off to the side of a building that was close by.
"Why? What is it about him that you fear?"
"I think it's time. I should tell you the truth about me and Jotaro. We fought in 1989. He won, I died, and now we're here."
Jotaro was silently listening to you talking to yourself, The World was summoned.
"The world. What are you doing out?"
Jotaro summoned Star Platinum and stopped time.
"Can you see me?"
"(Y/n). The World is your stand! You need to learn how to control it!"
You couldn't see or hear what either of them were saying, until time began to resume. Jotaro was beside you looking at you.
"(Y/n)! Listen to me! You need to learn how to control your stand!"
Dio was frantic even though Jotaro couldn't see him.
"Stand? What are you talking about Di-"
You looked to your left.
"J-Jotaro?! Did you follow me?"
"Maybe. But I see you have a stand."
Jotaro was keeping his cool. He didn't want you seeing him afraid.
"Right, right."
The World punched Jotaro and he got sent flying back.
"Wh- what the hell?!"
"Th- that can't be right.."
You looked away from The World and looked over at Jotaro, who was getting up from a pile of bricks.
"Huh?"
"You shouldn't have that stand.. Its impossible. Unless, do you know anyone named Dio?"
"Say you don't know me."
"Uh.... No... I don't know who you're talking about."
Jotaro came up to you closing the space
"Don't lie."
"Fine.. Yes, I know who Dio is."
"How do you know him?"
"He is my 'imaginary friend'."
Jotaro was speechless, Dio was looking at you in disbelief and you were embarrassed.
"That's not right."
"Mhm.. That's the reason I came here so early. I'm glad you didn't take it so harshly, Dio told me about your battle."
"Oh, right, that."
You heard someone running towards you. You turned around and was met by a high school student that had an interesting hairstyle.
"Oh, hey Josuke! Did you need something? What happened?"
You spoke to Josuke while he was panting and bleeding.
"We found..."
"What did you find?"
Jotaro said nothing.
"We found... Yoshikage Kira."
"What? We need to go to where he is."
Josuke stood up straight and looked at you.
"I'm not sure you should go, you don't have a stand."
"I wouldn't be so sure."
Josuke gave a confused look as you gave a menacing grin as The World summoned.
"Let's go kill that bastard."
