Family Ties (Elena's P.O.V)

" I repeat the animal responsible  for terrorizing Mystic Falls has been caught." Anchor Man Logan Fell said into the camera.

"Scum ball......Scum bucket". Jenna said sourly while staring at the tv, Eliza and I gave eachother quizzical looks.

"Who are you talking to?" I asked. "Him." Jenna Nodded towards the TV.

"The news guy?" Eliza asked quirking her eyebrows. "Also Known as Logan ScumFell. Did your mom tell you why I moved away from Mystic Falls?" Jenna asked, Eliza started laughing.

"No Way." Eliza said still in a fit of laughter "You and him?"

I looked at her and shrugged "He's cute." Jenna turned and looked at me sternly.

"He's Not Cute." "Theres nothing cute about him" Jenna said defensevely and turned off the T.V, I walked to the kitchen table and bit an apple that was sitting there.

I saw Eliza come over with a box and started to take stuff out and clean it, Jenna must have noticed too because she looked intrigued.

"What are you doing with that?" Jenna asked her.

"I went yesterday and got it from the safde deposit box, mom had told Mrs. Lockwood that she would loan it for some Heritage Display." Eliza said while carefully cleaning something, I nodded and bit the apple again. Jenna looked in the box and pulled out a ring.

"Is this grandma Beths ring?" Jenna asked looking at it curiously.

"Well originally it was great great grandma Mary's"  well isn't someone awfully serious today.

I felt someone walk past me and I detached myself from my apple and looked up to see jeremy.

"How much do you think this stuff worth? I mean on E-Bay?" Jeremy asked turning something over in his hands. I rolled my eyes, Eliza grabbed whatever was in his hand and placed it carefully in the box.

" Your never going to find out" Eliza said coldly as she cleaned a necklace.

"That Stuff is mom and dad's you can't just give it away." Jeremy said to Eliza in the same tone of voice. Eliza simply glared at him through her blonde hair.

"She's not giving it away, It's called a loan Jere." I said simpatheticly, he just huffed and walked away saying something about twins.

~Eliza's P.O.V~

The doorbell rang and I looked at Elena tiredly she got up and awnsered the door, I heard a gasp and I assumed it was stefan. I rolled my eyes and got a cup of hot chocolate.

It was about three, when I heard the doorbell I was laying on the couch watching T.V and Elena  was in the kitchen, the doorbell went of again and Elena threw a baby carrot at my head, I turned and glared and she just pointed towards the door. I lazily got off the couch and straitened my shorts, it was oddly hot today.

I opened the door expecting stefan or bonnie, instead I saw tyler lockwood, I grunted and tried to slam the door but he stopped it with his foot.

"Eliza, Im sorry for the other night." he said desperately while looking down, I looked away and blinked the tears away.

I looked at him coldly and said in a monotone voice. "What do you want Tyler?" he looked hurt but it was wiped off as soon as it was there.

"Im here for my mom, Im supposed to pick up a box of stuff." Tyler said indifferently.

I walked to the kitchen and picked up the box from the table, Elena saw my expression and she walked past me, knowing that leaving me with Tyler for more than a minute would end up as a disaster, She stepped out of the way when I walked up to the door, I shoved the box in his hands and glared, when I spoke my husky voice was lower and monotone.
