Many years of hard work was what this man had done, he was rather powerful in the public's eyes. Charming, sweet, rich, and loving. He wasn't like your average multimillionaire. He cared for the poor unlike many, the many that disregarded them as dirty peasants. He and his 15 kids were known worldwide and were truly stunning.

His name is Elijah Lessing. He lived in a world where kids weren't just born but bought. You earned parent points by simple tasks and children were ranked for their skills. You had your 100 point kids. They were deemed dumb, deemed ugly. They were for the unworthy parents and never truly made it anywhere in life. You had the 1000 point kids, the most commonly picked. They were your average child of course.

Not the smartest, not the dumbest. Not blessed with looks but not too bad. Each child is different but they were all worth the points. Next you have 50,000 point kids. They were blessed with looks and smarts and rather well behaved. These kids were very uncommon and rarely picked mostly because people couldn't afford them. They were almost your golden child, with little flaws. They were above average in smarts and definitely charming.

Then you had the 100,000 point kids. They are damn near perfect. Smarts to die for and looks that anyone would fall for. They had minor issues but those were merely nothing. Of course they almost made it to the 150,000 kid bunch. They were perfect. They had perfect behavior, definitely mature. They're looks acceded many and smarts were way beyond any other kid. It was hard to find flaws in these kids and this is why they were chosen by the wealthy people. It's why everyone assumed Elijah would get one or two of them, he had the points to do so.

But what were his kids points? Well, they weren't what you'd expect, that's for sure. About a year ago Elijah had walked into one of the facilities. It's where you got your kids. He was instantly brought to the 150,000 point kids. The woman smiled ever so sweetly "hello sir, would you like to look around?" Elijah gave a swift nod, joining the woman by the frame. The kids played peacefully, not one being over the age four. They were truly charming. However this wasn't what Elijah wanted.

So he told the woman no, the woman quickly leading him to the others. He had viewed all the kids and observed them all. None of them he wanted. "Sir, are you sure not a single kid caught your eye? We can always improve selection if they didn't meet your standards?" She was frantic. If such a famous man left with no child and displeased, their facility would be quick to go.

Elijah smirked "and behind that door?" He questions, pointing towards a rusty door in the dark corner. The 100 point kids. He knew what was there, he just didn't expect so many when the woman walked him through the door. Fifteen kids. The oldest was 16 and the youngest merely a year old. They were ratty kids, loose and baggy clothing hanging from their shoulders. If you could call them clothes. They had holes in every article of clothing and the fabric seemed almost non-existent. Disgusting. It was disgusting "this is truly disgusting." He spat, vemon lacing his words.

Dancing nervously the women sheepishly nodded "yes these are the 100 point kids, truly not anything good here. Shall we take a look at the others?" Of course Elijah shook his head and laughed.

"All of them. I'll take all of them." He whispered, gazing at the kids with love. He knew how it felt to not be wanted.

"Are you sure sir," The woman inhaled while shaking with nerve, "wouldn't you be better suited with a 150,000 point kid or even a 100,000 kid? Being seen with a mere 100 point kid would ruin your reputation. Let alone 15 of them.

"And how so? If I, a mere 100 point kid, am this successful then why would these 'mere' 100 point kids truly taint my image?" The woman was speechless, giving a small nod. Satisfied with the woman's silence, Elijah smiled "now shall we get started on the paperwork?" With another small nod the woman retrieved the papers, Elijah leaving with the 15 kids that day.
