She broke the hug then got on the tip of her toes and wiped my tears.

"Thank you Chiaki. To be honest, I was very nervous about restarting our friendship but I'm glad to see that you've changed. I'm just so upset about all this stuff with Nagito." I admitted. "I'm really sorry about everything I did, that was really unfair of me. Do you want to play video games with me? I was thinking maybe that could cheer you up." Chiaki asked.

"Sure but can we do it a little bit later? I need some time to think." I said "Yes of course, take as much time as you need Hajime. Don't feel pressured!" Chiaki said cheerfully yet still in a calm manor. I left where I was standing with Chiaki and was puzzled at her closing remarks.

She acted so strangely on the last sentence. She really emphasized that I shouldn't feel pressured and she said it so calmly yet cheerful at the same time. Maybe she was just trying to be a comforting friend considering the situation? That's definitely a possibility but she seemed...excited almost? I shouldn't be focused on such minor details anyways. It's not a big deal.

I went to my cottage and sat down on the couch remembering all the moments I had with Nagito here. But this was only making the despair more intense so I tried to keep my mind off of Nagito but my thoughts just kept wandering back to  Nagito. Could this have just been a coincidence? Were me and Nagito actually in love? I should probably go explain to Nagito.

I dragged my body off the couch leaving with a heavy feeling of weight, almost as if there was a shotput ball attached to one of my legs. I left my cottage feeling down and headed across from my entrance which led to Nagito's. I knocked on the door earning a response. "Hello?" the white haired boy answered. "Hi, you probably don't remember me due to your amnesia. I'm Hajime Hinata, I was your boyfriend before the incident." I confessed. "What? That doesn't make sense." he mumbled to himself

"What was that?" I asked, not hearing what he said properly. "Well, I guess I was dating that girl Chiaki and you are the same time," he began honestly, "I'm sorry..." he finished. I was very confused by his words. Could this be true? Is this why Chiaki was bothering me...to get Nagito's attention? I started tearing up "Oh, ok then. Goodbye" I said coldly with tears welling up in my eyes.

I turned by back to Nagito leaving him standing there clueless of what happened on his porch alone. I headed back into my cottage and shut the door then locked it to prevent intruders. I fell onto my bed and started crying. Why would Nagito do this to me? Why would Chiaki do this to me? My mind wandered like this for an hour until I fell into a deep sleep.

Hi guys! I'm sorry this chapter is shorter than normal and for not updating I had some stuff going on but I feel better now. I'm going to try to get back into writing. Thank you for 4K reads aaa!
