She was supposed to stay strong even as a child. She didnt want her mom to see her tears. She did so good. She only cried at night when her mom went to bed. Her mom heard her and comforted her but she never knew the real reason behind the tears. The real relation was to much for the 5 year old girl to explain. She was crying for so many reasons. She was crying because her dad chose alcohol over his family. She was crying because she saw him beating on her mother. She was crying because she thought it was her being born that made him start drinking. But most of all she was crying because she just watched him get dragged away by the police. And sadly a little piece of her 5 year old heart knew it wouldnt be the last time she saw him leave in handcuffs, seeing her mother's bruises
