"who's that" people whispered as i walked through school.
i just moved to east high. my parents found new jobs so that's why we moved.
it's been rough since caleb died. a few years back.

the only friend i made was kenzie. she's so pretty.

i ignored the comments and headed to my class.
i had english first.
i don't hate english. it's kinda fun actually. i write songs when im bored.

once i got in my last class. global. mr.masterson told us we were going to work in partners. fun.

i heard a ding and it was kenzie.

"sure" i shrugged.

he smiled and held out his hand. i stared at him like he was some alien from outer space trying to greet me.

"what" i asked, still confused.

"ur bags" he said.

i then realized what he was trying to do and smiled. huh, i guess he does have a soft spot after all.
