Here's a thirst trap photo of Prince Henry!

Prince Henry

Everything that has happened for the past week is convoluting, it's eating me up every time my thoughts linger about it. This facade I’ve created for Bran is getting out of hand, but surprisingly I haven’t spilled my beans.

I was about to out my attraction to him the time I passed by at his place, yet the cat caught my tongue, it was intense. It was an awkward moment and I looked suspicious. And to make matters worse, it happened again the last time I saw him. He was in town and saw me while I was taking care of trade, I was talking to a shop owner who sought help from the palace for trading with the other kingdom. I was with the palace guards that time and George — my best friend who I used as my facade to Bran — was present there alongside, he even had a conversation with Bran.

I fooled Bran into thinking he conversed with Prince Henry when it was George in disguise, he wouldn’t have known anyway. Things are starting to go south. If I unveil who I am, it’ll only scare him, and I don’t want him to be distant from me after this unique friendship we’ve shared. And to top it all off, I create more lies the more I see him, and it doesn’t feel great.

On the bright side, our friendship is building positively and in no harm’s way. I know It’s not the best time to reveal myself right now, but I will not eternally hide it from him. It’ll come out eventually, I just need to be prepared from possible consequences.

It's been almost a month since I’ve made it a habit to pay him visits every now and then, with a present I bring in those visits. His presence makes me feel at ease, I'm even confused about how he affects me in this way. At first, I only see him as a platonic friend who treats me with no boundary between us, I also have this kind of relationship with my best friend, George, but there's something distinct about Bran that I can’t point out. I’m more of myself around him, and I’ve never known that about myself until I met Bran.

This time I brought him a bow as a present, the one he wanted to buy according to George when they talked last time. Bran was prepping our snacks in the kitchen, we planned to hunt in the forest.

"How come I don't see your father every time I visit you?" I asked.

"He always leaves the house around seven in the morning and arrives by six in the evening," he answered while carrying the basket with the goodies he packed.

"We are set and good to go," he said and started to go outside. I grabbed the bows and arrows and followed him.

He locked the house and led the way to the place we were supposed to hunt. I looked at him and I could picture that he's contented with the life he has, just like what he said to me. He lives in a house made out of wood with no faucet-water and electricity, and most of the time they only eat vegetables. And he had no friends beside me.
