"Thanks for dropping me off Dean. I'll talk to you tomorrow."
"No problem. I cant wait for you to get your car out of the shop though so we can go drifting again."
"We cant be teens forever."
"But we can be fun forever."
The male chuckles and waves Dean off as he walks to the mailbox, opens the metal door, and grabs its contents before heading to the front door of his home. Once inside he sits down the pile of coupons and letters before addressing the manila envelope he'd shoved under his arm. He hadn't ordered anything in the past few months other than some seat covers and floor mats.
Opening the envelope with caution he dumps the items onto the kitchen table. On the table now sits what seems to be a letter, some pictures, a necklace, and ring. The necklace and ring were easily recognizable as gifts he'd given his ex a few years back. He glanced at the pictures of what looks to be a three or four year old boy, immediately putting two and two together and assuming the child was his. Quickly he grabs the letter and begins to read it.
Dear Sayer,
If everything has gone to plan and my package has reached you then i'm sure you've already put clues together and realized that the child in the photos may be yours. I've always loved that about you, how smart you are, that nothing could get past you. I cant say the same for me. I couldn't see what was right in front of me, that I'd let go of something great......

"SAYER STOP!" she giggled.
Within the next five seconds she was dumped into the pool, screaming and then swallowing a small amount of chlorinated water before resurfacing to find her boyfriend and his friends laughing at her.
"I'm sorry Lili, baby, but you need to let lose and have fun. You cant just sit in a corner with your phone." He replied.
This was new for both him and her. Sayer had never had a girlfriend even remotely as shy as his current one and Alyce had never been in a relationship before. The later clambered out of the pool and grabbed a towel before storming in the house, suddenly feeling sick, hit with a wave of nausea and anxiety. Right before she reached the restroom a hand grabbed her arm and gently turned her around.
"Not now Sayer, I don't feel good."
"You're fine. You know, you didn't have to agree to come here if you were uncomfortable. You could've stayed at home."
Alyce felt awkward. She didn't mind being dumped in the pool, and she really wanted to be here with him, but it wasn't safe for her to be thrown that way. She wanted to enjoy the party but when they got there, seeing all the young adults bouncing from room to room, people throwing balloons at each other, she immediately regretted it.
"I-..." she stuttered, she didn't know what to tell him.
"Are you OK?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."
"We've been dating for months now Lili, i cant keep doing this if you don't trust me. You have to tell me when something is wrong."
She didn't respond.
"Whatever, lets go."
When they arrived at her house she tried to apologize but he was busy on his phone.
"Bear?" She whispered.
"I want to break-up." He blurted.
She felt like crying. She knew it would come. He was too much of an extrovert and she was too much of an introvert but she loved him anyways. He was sweet, caring, and had these cute quirks that others didn't get to see. She felt like this was her fault. Lately she hasn't been putting any effort into the relationship yet she always wanted to know where he was and who he was with.
