Attack on Titan: 101st Cadet Corp [Marie's POV]

Encounter

My name is Marie! My best friend (Alexander) and I,  are standing side by side with one person in between us. While waiting, I heard someone's voice boom from the front. They sounded strict and full of dedication to teach us how to be a good Scout! Or- in my case a good scout. I don't know about everyone else.

"WELCOME CADETS, TO THE 101st CADET CORP," they said. I couldn't help but smile. I was here! I was finally here! My dream had started becoming true. After this I can finally become an official cadet.

Wait! I'm getting a little to far away from the beginning. Let's start from scratch.

It all started, when I was wandering around the Shiganshina District of wall Maria. I was eight years old, being alone for 3 years you kinda know how to take care of yourself. My parents left me on the streets when I was five hence, being alone for three years. Anyway, let's get into it...

[Marie's 8 years old]

I just stole bread from the Garrison and the Military Police. Not the smartest idea on my part.

'Gotta keep running,' I think to myself. I look behind me and see that the Garrison and the Military Police are behind me. 'Just outrun them,'  I think ducking under someone's arm as I take their bag. So I wouldn't drop my bread I shoved it in my mouth so I could open the bag and see what's in it.

"Sweet a satchel," I say to myself as I sling it across my chest and continue running. Opening it up I see a tank of gas and tilt my head. Then so I don't run into anyone I look up again and see that one of the Military Police men had blocked me off meaning I have to make the sharp turn to my left-

"GAH," I yelp as I run into a boy dropping my bread. I was running so fast that when I bumped into him I landed on my back. "Ow..," I mumbled and looked up seeing a blonde haired boy about my age. He picked up one of the pieces of bread and asks, "What are you doing?"

I stood. "I'm running from the Military Police and the Garrison." I reply as he gives me back the bread. I put the bread in my bag and he helps me up.

"What did you do to make them chase you," He asks. I don't know why, but I feel like I can trust him, after 3 years... can I finally trust someone? So, I tell him, "I stole their bread," and laugh nervously. He looks at me, then says, "Alright follow me," the blonde boy said turning around.

I hear the distant yells from the MP and the Garrison not to far away, and since I have no were else to go, I follow him.

But when we turn a corner, the Garrison and the MP have cornered us. 'Crap,' I think to myself looking at the blonde boy and then the MP. They seemed to be having a glaring contest. I giggle a little at this and the confused look from the Garrison makes me stop and clear my throat.

"YOU little Missy! You have been causing us trouble for the past 3 YEARS," One of the Military Police complain, "And now we can finally put you behind bars,"

I then laugh. I have been causing them trouble for a long time. HA- and it's been hilarious, the looks on their faces when they loose me.

"SHUT UP PIPSQUEAK," The same man yells at me. I quit laughing and clear my throat. Then I look for an opening. Then my face brightens and I whisper is the boys ear, "Hey, Can you slide under them," and he shakes his head no. I then sigh and an idea comes into my mind. I charge at the Garrison sliding under him grabbing his legs tripping him. He lands on his face and by the time I look up the MP is already taken out by the boy.
